it was okay. Some of the teachers could have been better but all in all wasnt too bad an experience. Did the cert 4 in cyber security. Course delivery was online as COVID messed a lot of things up for us.One thing to consider before doing the certificate 4, is that they tell you with that qualification can get you work almost anywhere in IT. Not the truth. It should be thought of as a starting point.You cannot get work as a penetration tester nor as a basic Cyber security analyst with just this under your belt. We did 90% of the CCNA coursework but were not certified which i think should be a part of the course as well.Happy that i did the course but wish that i had been given the truth about work opportunities as I and some of my former classmates are now unsure as to where we go next.

After a promising start everything sunk into chaos with many promises made and broken and inconsistent messaging and approaches causing confusion and anxiety in an already anxious student, a condition which the Tafe was aware of. There were a couple of outstanding teachers who were honestly great at their job and who will be remembered with much fondness. Others really shouldn't be there at all or should learn to manage their own anxiety to start with as to not transfer their emotions unnecessarily. Better communication wouldn't go astray either; trying to get a hold of someone resembles an almost impossible task.

Despite some occasional inconsistencies, I am proud to say that Box Hill Institute is truly a place of worship for all that want to study it. All of my teachers and classmates are friendly, the curriculum makes perfect sense, and the work is fair and hard. I would 100% recommend this place for future reference for any tertiary education potentials :)

The communication and organisation is terrible and they do not care whatsoever. I had to re-enrol in two classes and got no assistance on how to do so. One teacher said she was here to help me if I needed for my assignment but she has not responded to my 3 messages asking for assistance for over a month now. They fail your classes and leave you in the dark with no help or guidance. Totally not worth paying almost 5 grand for either when they’re so careless, disorganised and inadequate. Also considering the fact that half of the year we were learning remotely (with some classes cut short, teachers not organised, being given useless filler activities to pass the time, etc) you were still expected to pay the full overpriced fee.

I can only speak for the automotive department of this place but it’s been fantastic. They support students from all walks of life and are empathetic to any concerns or issues that may arise. The staff is responsive and engaging with the students all through the duration of the course. I can’t stress enough if you have any queries please give them a call.

Spent four great years studying here… very thankful for the experience. My first friend here was Dorothy and we were classmates in the same course! I gave the White Horse the name of “Boxer”, which makes sense.

Last minute cancellation, doesn't automatically refund, call line is experiencing unprecedented levels of call volume" which I expect is just their consistent level of call volume with insufficient level of staffing. All in all

Box Hill Institute - her scrupulousness during our mending yoga meeting is unrivaled. I felt areas of strength for an of quiet upon appearance to her studio, and each second all through my meeting was met with harmony and serenity. It was an incredible encounter!

I can't give any star review because they don't call/email back...For 3MONTHS I have been trying to find out if I can study hort III online or part time after work hours.I have called and left messages.I have emailed and asked the question.I even tried calling TAFE hotline who answered, but were unsure if the Lilydale campus was able to accomadate me; and they suggested I call box hill....!If anyone works there, could you please get in touch with me.I'm SURE you have my email address and phone number in your VM.
