This National Parks campground is right on the beach and has clean well maintained amenities but no hot water, there's a website with more details.

Point Plomer campground
We love Pt Plomer and have visited there numerous times over the years. Beautiful beach, great surf & good fishing. It was packed when we visited a week ago but still found a good spot to set up camp. May is usually quiet but not this year. Dingos were present at night, but didn’t see them through the day. At the moment it’s first in best dressed but from August, the campground will be closed for reservations due to the site being upgraded to pre booked sites.

National Park with a very rough road.You'll need to make an online booking before your stay.Very clean & tidy amenities. Flushing toilets. Cold Showers. Dump Point.Above ground fires permitted.Mobile phone service. Limited TV.No Power. No drinking water. No Pets.

Loved it. Beautiful beach. Has toilets, cold showers only, dump point, no power or drinking water. Grounds well cared for. At present rough road in for last 5kms.

Great camping sites, with views access to surfing, fishing & swimming. Excellent facilities..Allowed campfires.Costings affordable..Luv the place..

Loved every min there. Easy access to the area through gravel roads, even a van had no problem with this. Great paddleboard area, bbqs, ice and firewood with a firepit to hire.

Beautiful safe beach to swim at. First in best dressed when it comes to picking a spot to camp. Allocated sites are coming mid 2023 which will be bookable online. Cold showers & flushing loos. The point plomer road via Crescent Head is the best it's been in years, a few corrections on the uphill climbs.
