Servicing the needs of both the local community and visitors since 1838, this business retains the character of the past combined with the facilities of the modern generation. We are not a museum although our free entry visitors' room does display some relics of the past but we are an ‘old-fashioned General Store’, renowned for having a massive variety of products with fair prices.

This store has so much stuff. Just worth coming to browse even if you don't buy anything. Has a nice little room with some town history, photos, memorabilia etc

This store has everything. Especially if you're travelling in a camper van. You can buy tiny honey, and single serve squeezy sauces and mayo etc. They have long life milk and cream and just a huge range!! It was such a convenient place for groceries. Also, it's worth having a quick look at the artefacts in the back room of the old/original section of the store. So much history!!

Google lists hours as closing at 7pm. We arrived at 6:50pm and it is well and truly closed and locked up :(

To say this place sells everything is not much exaggeration. Its amazing. They are very good at providing 'all things to everyone'. They are not good at promoting themselves, as you can see outside, but wow, what a shop! Not to be missed if you are in Swansea.

Just about anything you need! From groceries to hardware to clothing to fishing gear. And not just a few of each but a reasonable amount for a store operating since 1860. Great service as well.

My goodness. Sells Absolutely Everything. Amazing historical building with all kinds of goods on one side, and super IGA attached. Wow. I thought, if it's raining, van life trash could spend an hour in here! Great shop and the icecream was on spesh.

Lovely store, but don't go late on a Tuesday afternoon. No meat left to speak about. Pricing on most items did seem high, but I guess they have a captured market for local convenience.
