Dodge -Stands around for 5 mins morning"RR - "yes.....? we are not open"dodge - looks around no signs saying they are closed and lights are all on..... "what time do you open?"RR- "10-11"Dodge - "sorry is it 10 or 11?"RR - "oh we just open up when we are ready"Dodge - "umm ok bye"This was the most strange conversation I have had with someone working in fast food yet I found it so funny after.I didn't realize you get to pick when you want to open obviously this is not a proper business."

Surprised to see Red Rooster open - normaly I arrrive as they have just closed to leave with 2 departure flights still to leave before airport closes for night. So I ordered the BBQ box and upgraded the drink and then the chips - Red Rooster chips you know are very good. Transaction complete and waited not tolong - didn't open and check meal because it is up on the monitor displayed for counter and kitch staff to see. Even from the public side of the counter print was big enough for me to read with my thick glasses.Sat down over in the viewing window at the airport in Newcastle and enjoyed the BBQ burger and the chicken drum stick - very nice. opened the box to retrieve the large chips and potato and gravy! Wait wait small chips oh was disappointed on my face. Nice anyway.

Bought a $17 meal box. Asked for tomato sauce and was handed one small sachet of sauce. Please see image. For an overpriced box of chicken I really expect more sauce. How is one sachet appropriate for three pieces of chicken and hot chips. This is my absolute pet hate. If I’m giving you $17 give me an appropriate amount of sauce. Fly out of Newcastle Airport often. First time I’ve been to the Red Rooster. I’ll definitely be giving my custom to the other eateries in the future. Grow a brain.

Not enough staff on, people waiting 30+ minutes for their order and the size of meal for what I paid was more of a kids meal. 12 chips in my packet like come on and it was actually pretty disgusting to eat.

My salad roll was had barely any salad, see attached image which included 2 slices of tomato, one including the core, and hardly any lettuce. The bread roll was nice, hence the reason I rated 2 stars rather than one

Worst burger ever! The bun was so soggy int fell to pieces could only eat the measly bit of chicken and cheese, disgusting for $11.45
