Benetas The Views has provided the perfect new home for our dear aunt B. They helped with the often complex transition as we navigate the challenges for a fabulous and stubbornly independent woman who is adamantly not aware of her Alzheimer's.Auntie B has made new friends, loves the activities, and most importantly also is safe and happy, with attentive care from a very professional team at The Views.

My father spent the best 4 months of his life before he passed . He called The Views his palace and he made so many wonderful friendships in such a short time. The staff were amazing and cared for him and were so happy to accommodate anything he asked for. I will be forever be grateful that we choose Benetas The Views, It really was a blessing to me that he was taken care of. The staff and carers went above and beyond. The activities and coffee shop were some of Dad's favorite. He used like telling anyone who would listen about his spectacular view that he enjoyed. The staff and carers loved really connecting to him and making him feel loved and safe and loving having a joke with him. I cant rate it highly enough. Thank you Benetas The Views for everything !

Very good response to my enquiry

We applied for residential respite for my mother a month ago; after a long wait, we received approval last Monday for 1 week respite during the Easter period. So we went ahead and organised a purchase order through carers gateway and also made our own holiday plans , happy and relieved that we could have a short break from our caring responsibilities. Today, we called their customer centre and was again assured that everything was confirmed, the purchase order had been received, everything was ready to proceed, with a final agreement to be prepared and emailed to us. Upon requesting a new medical chart, we were told by facility manager Christine Sneddon that they had made a mistake , and that there were no rooms available for my mother at all, despite it only being 4 days before the approved respite. This was a major surprise to us and we sought resolution and assistance from higher up in the organisation - but no such assistance or clarity was provided. This lack of service and failure to meet initial arrangements as agreed reflects very poorly on the management of the organisation and displays a complete lack of professionalism. We are extremely disappointed with what has transpired, we have been let down, with our plans thrown into disarray and would have pursued other avenues had we known this was going to happen. We do not recommend this organisation to anyone.

Lovely staff, great modern accomadation

Good level of care, good facilities for aged care.

The staff are very nice, but they are burdened with what maybe the worst high tech internal phone system in the world! An old fashioned plug and socket board would be a 1,000% improvement. I live in the USA and my mum has dementia. A weekly phone conversation with her requires a marathon effort with multiple attempts to get through to her floor and very long holds. It is not user friendly at all. A case where modern technology is a huge step backwards.
