Bonogin Valley Horse Retreat - Gold Coast Horse Riding

Thank you very much to Deb who made our Ladies Morning Group Ride so special and memorable!! My daughter and myself have been so keen to ride again and this was a perfect experience for us connecting with the horses, grooming, saddling up and just some relaxation time getting to know the other riders Bec and Karlie and our lovely horses we rode Dreamer and Claire :)

I recently took my grandson for a one hour private lesson which, compared to the same lesson at an interstate riding school, was excellent value for money.Debbie and her staff were very welcoming and professional. Debbie provided my grandson with specific instruction, not just on riding, but the all important relationship between horse and rider. He loved it so much he is looking forward to further lessons.Thanks Debbie and the wonderful team for a fabulous experience.

I could not recommend this place enough, I ride every week once a weekAnd it has been by far my favourite place to do lessons. They are like family. Love everyone there!Debbie is the most loving person out there but she also knows her stuff!!

The Kids Horse Intro Class was informative and fun. Kids learnt some basics of horse care and safety rules. Also they were guided to control horse to move forward and stop as well as to lead horse and to steer horse moving directions. The coaches were quite nice and patient. My kid had a wonderful time last weekend at the place and would like to attend more horse riding lessons at following weekends.

As a mature woman who has only ridden a handful of times since my teens, I decided to do the development clinic. It was simply superb. Debbie was the owner was nothing short of excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly, very experienced and had a natural compassion and respect with all of her beautiful horses. Her staff were equally so helpful and supportive. I would very highly recommend anyone wishing to ‘learn’ again. Loved every minute and look forward to returning. Definitely a 5 star experience!

WOW! Where is the Sixth star when you need it?Bonogin Horse Retreat is awesome. I started my 8 year old daughter there a year and a half ago. She loves it. Every weekend she gets a private lesson which is reasonably priced and executed in a way that works for her (She is a REALLY unique individual).Every weekend she looks forward to her Saturday ride. The staff are dedicated to their craft and their clients. Such a friendly mob - you really feel like you are a part of the family after a month or so. They also have special event days in School breaks which draw a bit of a crowd but go for long periods of time(great baby sitting *LOL*).Honestly, I could rave on some more but you would have better things to do - just go try it out - you wont regret it!

I went for my very first experience at Bonogin Valley Horse Retreat.l had Deb the owner and she was so kind and patience with me.My reason was for mental health and just healing. i was nervous at times but Deb talked about other things to settle me and the horse was happy.l loved just being there it is a peaceful, beautiful setting. It gave me a sense of calm and l really loved bushing the horse at the end. Im going again and hoping every week. My daughter also goes but for beginers riding. she LOVES it.

My 6yo daughter did the kids intro class which was perfect and a great introduction to horses, not just riding, but understanding and caring for them. Good length for an intro class, not too long, but enough time to gain confidence in their horse, have a turn at riding, and find out if it is for them or not. I think my daughter will be back!
