We loved this. The sculptures are amazing but the location is breathtaking. A cliff top walk out and a valley floor walk back, with lots of animals and birds to see too.

Love it! There a nice natural camping, great bird watching and dark sky bring a telescope.

Beautiful sculptures in lovely bushland. But for us, with a kiddo, it just didn't make the cut as one of our fave spots. It's a long drive to get there (as the bulk of the road is is unpaved, it's slow driving) and the walk is just a walk around the rim on a flat track. We did see a wild emu on the way, so that's a win.Might be a lovely afternoon for adults.

Some of the better sculptures around on a nice easy walk. Involves some steps

We almost turned around on the way there as the multipurpose road was pretty rough on a car, but goo look as we persisted. Thrilled to see the sculptures interspersed along the short bushwalk, an attempt to acknowledge and pay respects to the Indigenous peoples and traditional owners of the land.

Fabulous sculptures and informative plaques along the way to explain the meanings behind them. Wonderful camping area with very few people but excellent facilities. Horrendous road be prepared.

A unique and magical experience. We came during the golden hour of last light to see this place and we know we have to explore this area some more...We have been visiting the Warrumbungles region for many years and now the Pillaga will be our new adventure...
