Bad Indian male nurse in charge. PCAs just want to finish their job and sometime even don’t want to do the job. Taking care of patients r hard but if u choose this work, U need to do it. Really don’t have enough stuffs in this facility

Great facilities and unbelievable nursing staff. Administrative staff need a lot more customer service training and are all that's holding back a five star review.

I feel very comfortable with the care my mother has been given especially during lockdown when I could not visit. Lots of communication, and the staff respond to queries promptly. I feel she's in a safe environment and that means a lot.

I complained to the Aged Care Complaints Commissioner about my mother being unlawfully restrained to the facility so they arranged for their consultant geriatrician to undertake an 'assessment' which involved the geriatrician walking Mum to the front door and saying to me 'your Mum held my hand tight so she is really anxious, you can't take her out'. They also told the ACCC that my mother cannot walk or transfer unassisted however the careplan states that Mum needs no assistance with mobility or transfers, and Mum walks around all day with no assistance. They needed to cover themselves for what they did to Mum. Then 4 times this year my mother had significant unexplained bruising on her arms and I complained again. Their answer to the ACCC was that Mum had a skin tear last November. Dishonest, no integrity nor morals.

I have nothing but the highest praise for new management and a team of great staff. As soon as problems were raised last year they were taken seriously and acted upon immediately. Issues related to funding cuts by government so let's put the blame where it belongs, a parliament who don't spend on health and aged care.My beautiful mum has been there for two years. PCA attendants, nursing staff, lifestyle, caterers and cleaners without fail go the extra mile to ensure not just her safety and comfort, but her her complete wellbeing. Last week she celebrated her 100th birthday but was too ill to transport to the planned event. The General Manager pulled out all stops to ensure our family could meet and celebrate with mum, a team of people got together and made it happen at very short notice.THANK YOU is too small a word to express our gratitude for the daily kindness, compassion and dignity extended not only to mum but to the family as well. I hope one day when my turn comes around I am fortunate enough to find a facility with such professional and truly dedicated staff. Well done guys☺️

Wrong medication given. No medication given. Took weeks for a nutritionist to see new resident. No details given about how family member was coping in facility. Wouldnt give out the menu to see what the meals were. Lack of staff to actually attend to residents adequately. Residents who are fall risks arent taken outside. Residents able to walk them selves out of facility. . Facility needs more staff. Poor management. Lack of details given to family.

My mothers went into Heritage Gardens for 2 weeks respite recently. Although the facility is a little dated we/she could not have been happier. From Admission to discharge all staff were very friendly and accomodating. This was so comforting because mum was so hesitate beforehand. She said everyone was kind and caring. Great to know there a place close by we can use if it’s ever required again.
