Went to the rspca looking for a dog but found one at another shelter,The staff where helpful and the yards the dogs where in where spacious and had lots of grass to play in

The staff are really friendly and you can tell that they love what they do :)The dogs are looked after well here more than other RSPCA shelters so would definitely recommend.

Happy with staff and our dog seemed happy when we picked her up BUT was shocked at the cost. We were caravanning and my husband was admitted to hospital so I dropped my dog off at 11am and paid $32, couldnt collect as they shut at 3.30pm. Collected my dog at 11am next morning and had to pay another $32. Was very grateful that she had good care but thought $64 was excessive for 24 hours.

Thank you to the staff at RSPCA Shelter Katoomba for helping me to adopt Stan, my adopted boss cat. He is settling very well into his new home & we are very happy in getting to know each other. Stan is very happy adventuring in his new happy calm place of residence & likes sleeping in the big bed with me, his hooman partner.

Such friendly and helpful staff. Found the love of our life there, Sally! I would absolutely recommend adopting a pet from here. Reasonable prices, animal is vaccinated and desexed and the staff are honest and helpful about the pros and cons of each animal's personality.

The manager has no experience working with animals. The animals brought here are euthanised and not re homed ever. DO NOT BRING ANIMALS TO RSPCA THIS IS A PARASITE ORGANISATION. BRING ANIMALS TO ANIMAL WELFARE LEAGUE INSTEAD

I'm from Sydney, I drove like an hour thirty,there were only around ten cats, and there were no dogs available. Big disappointment for an RSPCA. SIGHT
