Licola Wilderness Village
Got there at around 6.30pm, the manager /owner met us and showed our convoy to our two cabins. Plenty of space and very clean.We just spent the night there and wished we spent at least another day doing camp activities like the kids do at this place :)Thank you for accommodating all of us at such short notice.

This is a wonderful place to get away from it all. Terrific staff and a stunning location on the Macalister River.

It belongs to the Lions club so its privatised basically. Impossible to access the river from the public areas near the bridge. You have2 be a paid visitor to one of the camps which have accessable river frontage. Without a 4wd you can't really go much further. Its a lovely scenic drive there but not much once u get there

Licola Wilderness Village
I enjoyed our stay here however my only problem is the lack of communication. It was easy to make a booking however hard to continue communication with staff. I was not able to get a hold of anyone after I booked. Leading up to the stay I wasn't sure what was happening anymore due to the lack of communication and I didn't want to drive 3 to 4 hours away just to be turned down.

We had a very poor experience here unfortunately. We booked 2 cabins for my daughters birthday for 20 people. Drove over 2 hours to get there only to be met with extremely dirty cabins. Mouse poo and dirt in Cupboards, stains and dirt over beds and carpet, looked like they hadn't had a decent clean in a long time. We left straight away and relocated our group elsewhere. We did get a full refund, however no apology at all, communication wasn't great.

Great place for this camp and excellent staff. Had a fabulous four days at this camp and looking forward to coming back next year.

Picturesque naitch. Stunning spot of countryside. Swimming against the river current was invigorating. Camping on spike-free lush grass was lux on my barefeet. Already looking forward to returning here.

Wonderful location. Cabins comfortable though sparse. Great dining hall with excellent catering. Close to high country and walking trails. Can cope with very large groups.
