Cozy place near to Shelly Beach. Crowded for a Sunday brunch. I waited 15 minutes to order and 20 to get a table.Menu it’s ok, simple options.I was really exited to be there. However, I ended disappointed, my order came incomplete, I never received my drink, I finished my meals and I went to ask for a refund (drink) -which I still waiting for though.I recommend the place, the vibe is amazing.

There is a serious bird problem inside and outside this restaurant. Multiple bush turkey’s were attacking uncleared plates and getting on the tables around us. The food lacked enthusiasm and we were really put off. Previously much better.

The Boathouse Shelly Beach
Came here on two different occasions for lunch and breakfast. I ordered the avocado toast with eggs for breakfast and it was really good! The lunch was the best though as I ordered the barramundi and it was absolutely delicious and I would come back again for that! The fish burger ( as shown ) was also really good! Overall great food and service with a wonderful view of the beautiful shelly beach.

Such a nice cafe and located in a very nice spot close to the beach! The foods are very delicious and fresh, coffee is really good and the staff are professional! The interior design is pretty and unique!

I like the location, decoration, and coffee here. However, I do not recommend taking outside tables, which are, alas, the best located. The birds are coming to eat the rest of the food left on the tables (which is ok, we are close to the reserve where they live) and the staff is not in rush at all for cleaning the tables. Last time I had to ask them to come and clean as birds broke several glasses. And I can't say that the staff was busy doing service in other rooms of the Cafe. Hopefully, it was an isolated case.

A beautiful setting so close to the beach with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Very tastefully decorated, sophisticated yet casual, open and airy. Pet friendly! Very polite and friendly staff. My coffee was good and I enjoyed a wholesome breakfast of fresh tomato, avocado and goats cheese on sourdough with added poached eggs. Just what I needed the morning after the Bondi to Manly Ultra. Very relaxing and I will return when next in Manly.

Great location, right next to Shelley Beach with a lovely view of the beach. Was pretty busy but still easy to order via QR code. Food was excellent and didn't have to wait long considering how busy they were. Staff are lovely. Not the cheapest place but worth it for the location.

Waited 15 min just to order a drink . Lots of staff having a good chat around the place, no one helping the trainee young girl at the desk taking orders. Queue was neglected for far too long. Nice venue however the food seems really pricy.

The Boathouse Shelly Beach
Breakfast menu is upmarket and the restaurant with beach views and indoor outdoor seating is coastal chic plus busy especially at weekends. If you are on the beach I would say opt for the kiosk. If you have walked the promenade with friends to have breakfast it will cost around $30 per person. We visited for a special breakfast date. Service has definitely improved over the last few months. With very little wait time and no missing coffees. Afternoon happy hour is 2-4pm.
