Pacific Beach Function Centre

I attended a wedding and was very impressed with the service and atmosphere. The staff were lovely, especially Kate who went over and beyond!The food was lovely and came out right on time.I would certainly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Just went to my second wedding in two months here. The venue is great and the food is excellent. My only comment would be that I always wonder why they don't level off the grass area that they use for weddings. You see a lot of guests struggle on the uneven ground particularly sitting. Grandad almost took a decent tumble off his chair the other weekend. It is a lovely venue though.

The venue deserves a 4/5 (only issue was the fake floral wall falling over and nearly falling on my nephews on the dance floor), the catering company we had deserves a 5/5, but the manager, Kate, deserves a 1/5, hence the review. I have waited an entire year to post this because of the stress the event caused me.We had our engagement party at the venue with just over 100 guests. VGC Catering were amazing. There was lots of toddlers and kids enjoying the live music and so was my 80 year old Nonna. I have many videos of the event, and you can hear people talking over the music- to show that the music was not loud. Around 6pm, Gabrielle began standing right on top of the musicians speaker and telling him to turn it down. He obliged every time. Around 8/9pm, Gabrielle told the musician he had to leave after playing music too loud (again, I have videos right on the dance floor and you can audibly hear people speaking over the music- not even yelling, just speaking). In any case, the musical apologised, but Gabrielle told him he had to leave the venue for being 'rude', even though he had met all of her requests. I asked Gabrielle why he was asked to leave and she said because he was rude. I got her to clarify that he wasn't breaking any rules and she agreed he wasn't breaking any rules, but was 'rude'. Gabrielle then said to me give me a playlist I can put on music way louder than him anyway"

Nice view. Ceremony seatings were pretty but very uncomfortable as uneven ground. Not accessibility friendly we had to carry my mother up to the reception area, then she couldn’t access the bathroom.Staff were average. Decorations were nice.

Would give 10 stars.The venue is amazing and has amazing views of the beach. The staff that works for Kate are phenomenal. Even with some last minute covid impacts to Kate, Gabby stepped in perfectly and our wedding went without any dramas or stress to us. The team are truly great at running events and we can't thank them enough for the day that we had with them.

We recently got married at Pacific Beach Function Centre and it was an absolutely perfect day!Kate, Gabriella and the team at Pacific Beach were phenomenal. Every detail checked over twice and communicated so efficiently throughout our day.Our guests were so impressed with the beautiful space, the team and not to forget the views. If you are thinking of getting married here… you simply will not regret it. Thank you again to Kate and the team for being so fantastic!

Words can’t express the happiness that myself and my husband feel about getting married at Pacific Beach Function Centre. It was perfect. The staff were professional, polite and very efficient. The manager Kate and her daughter Gabriella are both beautiful on the outside and the inside. They bent over backwards to make our day a fairytale. The comments and feedback from our guests was our wedding was one of the best they have been too. The venue was spectacular, Kate has all the resources to decorate a picture perfect wedding. If we could get married again, we would definitely book this venue and wedding planner again. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts. Kye and Jez xx
