Australia Post - Mosman Post Shop

NEVER GO HERE FOR A PASSPORT! I really dislike this post office and the staff. My family and I have never had a pleasant experience dealing with this post office, particularly so when attempting to renew passports. Every time they find a reason to disqualify your passport photo simply so they can try and retake them and generate more revenue. And every time, we have taken the exact same photos elsewhere and had the passport approved and issued. They provide an awful service - Do yourself a favour and don't come here!

Not open on a Saturday, what a joke i would say 90% of all workers can not make the Mon-Friday opening hours. Not open on a Saturday youve got to be kidding. does this mean ive lost my 5 day mail pickup notification i recieved on a Monday!!!

Absolutely useless with parcel delivery.First time it took 3 days for company to track package which was sitting at post office all along, despite the fact I had been there three times. This week I received a final collection notice for a package which I was not notified had been delivered. Went there yesterday showed ID and picked it up. Had to chase up another parcel with an online seller only to be told that it had been sitting at the shop all week. Again no card to notify and even though I went in yesterday they didn't tell me it was there. Utterly useless and I wish they weren't my local

This is a fairly small post office, so when I came the lines were really long. They have all the services you need though, with a small card selection if you're like me and forgot to add a card to the present you're sending overseas! Be warned that parking is a bit of a challenge on the streets of Mosman. You're better off settling for the first spot you see and enjoying a stroll there.

Came in this afternoon and there was a female staff member yelling at a male staff member at the other end of the counter to ‘Copy the email over!! Just copy it over!!’ and laughing at him, in front of a dozen customers. It’s not that hard to be kind and patient. The walkway where all the PO BOX are accessed and the main entrance to the shop, as well as the PO BOX room out the back, always smell like urine - surely this can be cleaned, given the amount it costs to have a PO BOX.

Didn’t get anything telling me my parcel was awaiting collection. Stupid hours that mean you have to take time off work to collect something. 2 people working when the line was out the door.

Worst post office. Closest from my place but I always drive to Warringah mall post office even it’s 15 minutes drive and I recommend you to do the same if you can. Stuff are very mean. Not helpful at all.

Don’t go here for a passport application! Staff seemed to enjoy sending me off and back several times. Really unhelpful and unreasonable, looking for any reason not to lodge the application. I went to another branch who processed it straight away. A really awful and upsetting experience particularly considering I have 2 young kids and work and had to take time off to line up during work hours.

Terrible customer service !!! I paid for a parcel to be send overseas as an express (80$ for Christmas gifts ) not only the parcel never arrived ( which I could have get / not their fault / even though we are paying here fora service / anyway ) but when I had news from it it was 3 weeks after postage ! I came back to the post office asking on why the parcel were send it back to me , after a big chat , the lady said they that if the parcel comes back they will be able to send it free of charge . Here I am 2 month later going there with the parcel to resend it. The lady at the counter was rude when I explained the situation she laughed et said «  for free really ?! «  i got upset and explained that I was not going to pay again because they gave me the wrong info . They dealt with the situation poorly and , both of the person looking after me were rude and could not give me any solution or answers , I basically been told «  pay again but we can’t ensure this is not happening again «  ! That gave me a number to call , thanks their service was not representative of the whole company and the nice lady on the phone gave me tips for it not to happen again and explained me the process to send it again for free . After all this I ll use Ups for everything. I will never go back there for any reason and the manager should probably train his staff better .

I always am as to the lack of staff at this Post Office. There are always long queues with people bringing in large bags of mail and multiple parcels. It is time to hire more staff.
