Recently my family enjoyed a large meal of fish and chips from Ormond Rd Fish & Chips. Within our group two people have significant diet restrictions due to allergies and we discussed this prior to ordering online with the staff over the phone. They were able to check / discuss the ingredients used in their gluten free products with gave us confidence to order. The staff even sent us photos of the ingredients on the GF dim sims, which was so appreciated.Our order was packaged according to those who were GF and those who weren’t. Everything was clearly labeled.We enjoyed our meal very much- thank you!!

Chips were good, hot and salty. The Fish, oh my gosh, parts of it were good! Fresh and tasty, with a crispy batter on the outside... unfortunately it was gummy and raw on the inside, so a bit hit and miss there.... good serving sizes though.

Probably the best place in Geelong for gluten free fish and chips. All items are cooked in their own oil and utensils. Extra cost for gluten free is $1 with some other menu options being an extra $2 or $3. Couples pack was $29 and then the additional gluten free prices added on top. The pack comes with 2 fish, 2 potato cakes, 2 dim sims, 2 drinks and chips. Gluten free dim sim was the best tasted. The only problem was that the main parts of the meal were very oily. Would definitely go again though.

My Souvlaki was ok but not spectacular.Floor in front of the counter was quite sticky. I thought someone must have spilled something there recently, but then I read another review saying the same thing a week or more earlier...Does not really instil me with confidence about the cleanliness.

I was a bit unsure about going here after I saw it had changed owners. OMG! Am I happy I did. The chips were fat and fluffy inside. The burger I had was delicious and the the potato cakes are the best real potato cakes you will ever have.Please don’t ever change Ormond Road Fish and Chips!!!!!!!!

Went here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered two fried flakes, minimum chips, an apple juice, can of coke and a crumbed prawn. The fish was excellently cooked, with crispy batter. The chips were the best I've had in years, golden brown and crunchy, and there was easily enough for 3 people. For $25.30, excellent value. Friendly service, definitely recommend!
