Mowbray River Foot Bridge
Go at low tide for a higher chance of seeing crocs sunning themselves on the bank. We did also get lucky on a different day at high tide though when one swam past. Great spot off the highway, lots of parking.

It's a great spot if you're lucky enough to see a croc, but you need to come on a sunny day at low tide. I just saw the murky river water

Mowbray River Foot Bridge
This is a must!! If you are a local or visiting our beautiful Far North. This footbridge allows you to safely cross the river and see some of the wildlife just cruising on by, or if you bought some fishing gear with you then drop a line and try your luck.Please note - it is situated next to the main highway between Cairns and Port Douglas, so please take care when parking your vehicle, there is ample parking well off the road - so keep off the highway.

Great place to bring the kids, locals told us a great game! Harness up your little ones and toss them over the top and reel them back in! Our kids had a blast!

Was expecting to view a crocodile. Unfortunately couldn't. However, good place beside the highway and could be worthy to get some lovely photos.

Mowbray River Foot Bridge
Love Love Love this place.Great place to view wild crocs.We visited 3 days in a row and every day always spotted the 2 resident crocs basking on the banks.Beautiful and magnificent.We visited this place 10 years ago and the area has been updated, with a fenced viewing area.
