As our new home approached completion, we began our search for a landscaper who could create a unique design, something to complement our home which is also a little out of the ordinary. Eloquent Landscapes were highly rated and their portfolio was impressive so we gave them a call. Although they weren’t local, Ziggy was very happy to meet with us and came out the following day. We instantly felt a connection with Ziggy who was clearly passionate about his work and straight away had some exciting ideas for our design. We knew we had found our landscaper!We were very happy with our quote and design, which included colour renders which really helped us visualise the design. Ziggy really listened to us and took on board what was important to us with the design. We engaged Eloquent Landscapes after numerous previous unsuccessful attempts to identify a landscaper who could share our vision and implement what we were seeking- and we’re so glad we did!The engagement was multi facet and relatively complex, including land leveling, fencing, concreting, new pergola, outdoor kitchen, planting, irrigation and lighting.From the first meeting on site, it was obvious that Ziggy had an eye for detail, creative ideas, passionate and demonstrated knowledge on how to tackle the job. More importantly, he struck us as somebody who was genuine, honest and easy to work with.Working off an existing plan, he was able to provide meaningful feedback and suggestions to improve the existing plan and was able to quote the job promptly and in detail.The construction process managed by Imran, our project manager, was a rewarding experience.Imran was very reliable and hardworking who could troubleshoot and solve every complex issue which arose. His workmanship was 1st class.He was also an excellent communicator able to keep us informed every step along the way.He ensured that our needs were constantly met and that we were always satisfied with the end result. He was extremely meticulous and very accomodating. It's tough to summarize all the great work Eloquent has done for us during the project by a review.We engaged Eloquent for a DA-approved project consisting of 3 primary retaining concrete walls and decking. The project was challenging, including sloping land, no access, and existing collapsed hardwood retaining walls.We searched for a landscaper/builder for almost a year, and met at least 70 different landscapers. Many apologized for doing the job ( beyond their experience ) or priced it with a 200% buffer for emergencies.When Ziggy first visited to inspect the site, he had all drawings printed in A3; it was clear that he invested time to understand the needs and vision to achieve.Eloquent's scope included the full project from A to Z. Besides landscaping, building retaining walls and decking, Eloquent arranged for waste removal, 80 tons crane, traffic arrangements, and all approvals needed by the council, NSW transport, road closures and AussiGrid. Eloquent quotes came in a professional, clear structure, detailed work listed, and fair and reasonable conditions.Excavation activity was done amazingly, even with a challenging site setup, massive rain, and an old tree stump. With each difficulty, Ziggy was able to be creative and find a solution within the law and regulations.Ziggy appointed a project manager dedicated to our project; Project Manager Ehab is a talented man with many pieces of knowledge under his belt. He was always on time, accurate by millimetres, and monitored each project step daily.We added a SPA to the project mid-way that needed extra concrete foundation and engineering, Ziggy accommodated our wish, and his change order (extra work) was reasonable and fair.All teams, from carpenters to concert workers, were polite and acted very professionally.Ziggy introduced us to other trades like civil engineering and electrician. All were as professional as him.Ziggy is detailed, hard-working, and knowledgeable in many areas of his specialization. He always gives honest advice from his passion and many projects he delivered successfully before, as they say ( It takes one brave man to do one brave thing ) Eloquent were a bunch of such Men! You can see that it's done with passion and pride in his work and achievements.The project was delivered on time, as quoted, which is a massive achievement considering the complexity of the project and related third parties, including like council and others.The project consumed 70 tons of concrete and 50 sq meters of eco decking and added 70 cubic meters of soil.We would undoubtedly recommend Ziggy for any COMPLEX landscaping work.
