99 Bikes Fitzroy North

I have had 2 consecutive wonderful experiences at 99 Bikes Fitzroy North thanks to Eilish. She is super friendly and very knowledgeable. I’m new to the bike world and she has helped me purchase a helmet, drink bottles, bike accessories and a bike rack. Her customer service is second to none and I’ll definitely go straight back to her with any future bike queries and purchases. Thanks Eilish :)

Conor is both extremely knowledgeable and super friendly! My husband and I got great advice on bike accessories and how to install them, including help on setting my seat up correctly - plus everything we purchased was installed for free as part of our bike service. This place never makes you feel dumb, and their prices are equal or lower than the internet or any other bike store. We will never shop anywhere else. Thanks Conor, thanks Jhon.

Visited the store this morning and Eilish couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful and a complete professional! They helped me choose a new saddle for my (rather sad) bike, replaced it there and then and also gave me some good advice should I run into any issues. An absolute A+ store experience from an impeccable team member. Thank you, Eilish!

If I can give 10 stars, I would have done it differently. We went to this shop a few weeks ago for our first bikes. I never owned a bike before and totally lost what I actually wanted. Conor was so patient with us trying to understand the requirement. She recommended every single thing from bikes to all accessories. I can't thank you enough for your help. You've showed us the best customer service ever.

What an unfortunate experience!Dealing with three staff members here, Olive, Connor & ellish all in regard to ordering simple parts for my bike seemed all too hard due to inexperience. When they first ordered the parts I made it very clear what needed to be ordered but upon doing so I could see that both sales reps were very confused but insisted that the parts were correct. Unfortunately they were not.Taking time off of work to return all items twice has been incredibly frustrating and stressful.The lack of empathy, acknowledgement or understanding for this situation from the sales reps was horrible. On my last return eilish made it very clear that this was not his problem as he did not order one part trying to brush off the situation over the phone & in person and spoke over me continuously. You all wear the 99 bikes shirts, take responsibility for situations like this regardless who’s at fault do not smile at customers when they are clearly frustrated and upset.All three sales reps need to upskilled in product knowledge & serious customer service.I hope this reaches the area manager to provide further training to all three reps.I will not be a returning customer.

Highly recommended! Carlos did a great job on my Norco Fluid FS. The fork feels way better after the lower service and he even managed to find the squeak in one of the linkages that had been driving me crazy.

Justin was awesome. He help me out heap is purchasing my park tool bike stand. He went above and beyond and kept me updated on what was happening. He made it really easy to communicate over the phone. Didn't even need to go into the store except to pick it up.

We have come here so many times, and never had a bad experience. My husband knows a lot about bikes and I know next to nothing - but we're both treated exactly the same - not like some other stores that are incredibly patronizing and not interested in you unless you are MIMIL....I love that we have gone in each time with a pretty conservative budget and never been given a tough sell, or made to feel like we're wasting our time by not going top end range. The staff here will spend as much time as you need explaining your options and make sure you leave with the best option.I would never bother going elsewhere as our bikes have always been exactly what we were looking for and the staff are just wonderful.
