Southgate LDV

Buyer bewareI have owned a LDV T60 for 2.5 years now travelled 33,000 kls. Always been serviced by LDV. At the time a major reason I purchased it from Southgate was because they had a Branch at Victor Habor.Also because LDV offer a replacement vehicle if it's off the road for more than 48 hours if it needs repairs under warranty.To be fair I haven't had any real issues with the car until today. Time to test Customer service.A very loud knocking in the engine. LDV offer roadside assist so I called them. They advised it will need to be towed. Asked me to call Southgate to check they can accept today or in the morning.I called Southgate to be told they will be unable to look at it untill 7th July. Thats 3 weeks. Might be sooner if there is a cancellation. But can be 3 weeks.Until its looked at and confirmed its warranty I can't claim the free loan vehicle as part of the warranty.So now im stuck in a rural town. The town that they have since closed their branch. A town with ZERO public transport. A taxi service that only operates 7am till 6pm daily and unable to travel the 65 kls We need for appointnents at Flinders Medical.Southgate simply are unwilling to come up with a solution. They claim 3 cars today were towed in, and are in the same boat. They refuse to consider overtime to relieve the backlog.So now that I have has a chance to acctually test their customer service I feel I'm qualified to leave an accurate review.Be very careful because they are very good at taking your money but when a problem arises and you are left without a car they will just happily leave you stranded.

Terrible customer service, i have chased these guys up multiple times regarding missing items feom my BRAND NEW car and no one called me back. When i go in i am treated like a liar. We had no tool kit to work the jack or remove a tyre, got stuck in the barrossa for hours trying to sort this and they couldn't care less.

I'm with Deb SimpsonThis Lisa character needs to be removed she's giving the business after service a very bad reputation.Fobbed off a simple issue (that should have been covered under the warranty) until the car went out of warranty. Paid out of pocket for the problem to be fixed rather than have to deal with this Lisa any longer.Move along Lisa so obvious you hate your job

I phoned 3 times the other day told they would call me back and twice more the same except will note your call priority.I am still waiting weeks later.

No help. Lazy. No call back. Don't source parts, even though they have a parts department. Elimination of processes is none for fault finding. Mechanics, are they or not? More not. Repeat business. NOT ANYMORE.

Took my work van to LDV Reynella for a regular service. Discovered after the service that door pockets had been rifled through. On looking through my work tools discovered they had gone missing.Contacted the centre and service manager was off and was informed he would get back to me about the theft. He never did.Save your time having to get a police report for theft from your vehicles and Claiming on insurance and use another service centre.No I would not recommend this centre and urge others to go elsewhere.Your response to my post is factually misleading. You write;“We did call you back, and had a conversation with you.Again we apologise you were not happy with your experience, we are constantly striving for 5 star customer experience.”You fail to disclose that the staff could not do anything without permission of the service centre manager who was enjoying a convention on the east coast and that there was an undertaking from you that the service centre manager was going to contact and sort the issue. This never occurred.You fail to mention the damage caused to the vehicle during the service that caused it to fail soon after your service.Theft should not happen from customers vehicles.

Going away for Easter, packed up with a camper trailer, 2:30pm before a long weekend, our Holden lost power. Never been to Southgate service centre before but they fit us in as busy as they were and helped us out to check the car. Confirmed it was all ok and didn’t even charge us for the check. Can’t be more grateful for their help, especially Lisa. Will definitely be back for future services!!!

I bought an LDV G10 Executive. Best value for money vehicle for a medium to large family, very comfortable with all the features you expect from a new luxury vehicle. I was skeptical about the LDV being a Chinese car at first but after driving it & seeing the build quality, Italian leather seats etc I was very surprised. Ben & the Southgate team were very professional & went above & beyond to make sure i was happy with the car having aftermarket mag's, window tint etc installed for me prior to picking up the vehicle.I would highly recommend them to anyone looking at buying a new car.

Wow pretty bad!!Had to wait 40 minutes after the car was finished and returned for pick up before the paperwork was done !!! That was despite bringing it to their attention after 10 mins that the car was finished!Complimentary cleaning ? What a joke!!!Just 30 minutes extra wait and no cleaner than what it was when I dropped it off!As for the vibration over bumps I wanted looking at . Sorry sir we can’t find anything but they didn’t take it anywhere for a test drive at speed over a rough road !!!Never again will I go there!No wonder everyone else now offers warranty servicing rather than the dealer!!!Ford here I come to service my holden!!!!
