Hughenden Hotel

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised for a Hotel that was happy to house myself, my family and my fur grandson". Thank you Hughenden Hotel

Absolutely shambolic, shocking service.. arrived at hotel to a locked gate with a code. Which we wernt given by the hotel who are meant to email you all your stay details. Once finally in after circling the hotel for 30 mins and neither of the three given numbers to contact were answering we get to the key box... sat around waiting for a call back or something, finally get called back and the gentleman on the phone is very rude making it out that it was someone else's problem and how is he meant to answer the phone whilst being busy (he's the out of hours/contact number for the hotel) no 1 person in the hotel. Smells like an old dead person, aged like the hills. Would never stay again. Shocking service shocking hotel.waste of money and time

Nice spot for a 2 night stay.Pros:- lovely staff with good communication- on site cafe is great- good sized rooms- lots of nice places to stroll nearbyImprovements:- room was a touch shabby but no big issues

Pretty basic and expensive for what you receive. Again, as is the case with the majority of pet friendly" places

We stayed here recently for one night to take in a show at the Lyric. The room was comfortable, we had the courtyard room which was great despite the rain. The ability to take our Labrador with us was so good! The hotel location is fantastic, easy taxi ride to CBD/Lyric Theatre etc. And a short walk across the road to the Centennial park. The little Cafe attached to the hotel is excellent too. We will most definitely be back at this hotel!

Staff were brilliant.The carpet in our room had a 12cm square missing along a wall.Stains on the carpet.Cover plate missing where the shower head comes out of the wall.Our room didn't look anything like the brochure picture. No bed head.

What a shocking stay room was so small dog friendly not people friendly room was shabby not even a comfy chair had to sit on bed had to wash cups in the bathroom television stopped working car was not was not safe gate couldnt be locked notice to say if shower steam set off smoke alarm you would have to pay bathroom small window wouldnt open what a dirty grubby looking hotel the only nice thing to say is the staff were lovelyWhat a disappointing visit to Sydney we stayed four nights

Great dog friendly hotel, across the road from a beautiful park. Very friendly and helpful staff. beautiful breakfast with coffee included in the morning.

Had a delightful stay here for a girls weekend away. We loved it. Staff gave a good service & accommodating with help. Parking available was a good. If you like old world & tradition then you’ll love it. Yes it does need a little freshen up, but we loved it as it’s refreshing to find something that is a step back in time & has all the old world Paddington charm it should have. Great breakfast by the fire on a raining morning was cosy. Nice relaxing communal area. Small yet comfortable room 21 with bay windows overlooking Queen Street. A little noise from traffic in morning, though didn’t bother us. Walking distance to every thing. We enjoyed our stay very much.
