This is a good find on the road on the way to mudgee.The cafe provides welcome comforts, indoor and outdoor areas.The lady that served was very nice.Their pork roll was pretty good.All things considered, a good spot for a break.

Hi,My friend and I called into the cafe last Saturday on our way back to Hartley from the dog show at Rylstone.What a lovely experience! Beautifully served afternoon tea ... very pleasant decor .. we actually sat on a lounge setting with a coffee table that offered the latest country style magazines. But the best thing about the cafe was the personality and friendliness of the owner. We were delighted and so glad we stopped.Today is Wednesday, grey and windy .. my friend just sent me an email and said what a pity that lovely cafe is not closer

Nice little cafe along the highway. Definitely a good place to do a pit stop for coffee or a quite bite.We stopped by for some lunch. Ordered the green curry and bbq pork ribs. Found the rice to be pretty old and the ribs weren’t fully heated up when served.That said, the lady (I presume owner) that was running the whole place was very friendly. The smoothies were at least all really fresh and nice.I would recommend just stopping by for the coffee or drinks.

Great place for breakfast. They had a very nice vegetarian option that I could make vegan by replacing the eggs with extra mushrooms. The portion of beans was very generous. Very pleasant environment with large tables and comfortable chairs. There's a nice garden at the back that's good for a leg stretch during a long trip. Staff is very friendly too. If it was not for the very burned raisin toasts - although these were kindly replaced after we asked - and burned plain toasts I'd give 5 stars.

Ordered four half size milkshakes for my grandchildren. $9 each , no ice cream, very little flavouring and bulked up with ice.No idea and won’t see me again!

A pleasant, surprising find on the side of the highway for a hungry traveller. Good range of food and drinks in a very roomy cafe. Good number of dining tables inside plus some chesterfields around a coffee table. Some outside dining under vine covered frame. Friendly staff. Appeared to be popular with travellers and locals alike.

Driving back to Sydney from Windeyer and stopped at the first cafe we could find for coffee and lunch. My partner and I had a sip of our coffees and it tasted like there was soap or chemicals and the milk was extremely hot. I’ve never thrown out coffee so quickly before. We also ordered Banh Mi and it looked great on the poster. Unfortunately we were already in the car and driving when we unwrapped the Banh Mi rolls and sadly discovered that not only did we get the wrong Banh Mi style rolls we were given cheap hotdog buns that were stale, almost everything in the roll was wrong and the pork was at least a few days old and microwaved. If you don’t have the right ingredients or know how to make food properly you should take it off your menu.Please re-evaluate your food menu and keep your coffee machines cleaned.

We stopped after a long slow trip, very hungry, hot and thirsty. Ordered a ham cheese tomato sandwich. White bread was stale and dry, cheese was plastic sliced cheese and I got the to AND bottom of the tomato. Was a lovely cool pergola to eat. However, I wouldn’t eat food, the drink was cold.

This was our 3rd visit since the cafe re-opened with new management. I believe it is now the Squeeez Juice Bar although the former Farmview Cafe sign still hangs. We order the same meals when we stop by on our way to our weekender: Big Breakfast, bacon & eggs on toast and 2 coffees. The food is dismal, and serving size is small, coffee was luke warm not hot, but the lady who served us on previous occasions was friendly and chatty so we came back for the service and to support a local business. Unfortunately today, we asked the owner where this lady was and she said her ‘staff’ was away on holidays - unfortunately for them as she was the main reason we came back.Both her and a male (I presume is her husband) were not friendly. Our arrival at 8.30am seemed to have awoken them. 8am is their advertised opening time. We were not greeted with a hello or good morning or smile. They just asked us for our order then went into the kitchen to cook. The big breakfast consisted of 2 toast (small white slices), cold baked beans, a hash brown, 2 beef sausages, 1/6 of an avocado, about 1/2 a bacon rash and one egg for $24. This was the third time we ordered this meal and previously, we were served 2 eggs and 1 rash of bacon cut in half. When I asked the man if their big breakfast was meant to have 2 eggs he said no, only 1.Overpriced mediocre food, cold coffee, and bad service - we won’t be returning! If you need to stop between Lithgow and Mudgee, stop at Capertee instead. Hopefully the roadhouse in Illford will reopen soon which will give us another option for the area.
