Disappointing service.Stood at the host desk and staff walk past several times without any acknowledgement.Final got sat at a table.Cheers full of crumbs and so we’re other chairs.The outside area needs a lot of attention and cleaning.Food was ok except we ordered salt and pepper calamari and it came out mixed with baby octopus which we are confused about.Also can not believe staff could not use a drinks dray and had to make 2 trips to deliver 3 drinks of which they should be away you do not carry drinks around the rim of the glass.If the table is not level maybe fix it properly and not with dirty napkins.Sorry we will not be back.

Have been here multiple times in the past, many years ago and really liked it, this time round, we were all very disappointed with the quality of the food, anywhere else in cockle bay would've been a better option. The service, while the staff were quite attentive, they did not seem to understand what we were saying a lot of the time and found it very difficult to get simple items, like a steak knife or anything changed. I had the lobster and crab ravioli and feel as though I have had better at a local pub.Unfortunately we will no longer be going here.

Despite some of the staff not being particularly polite or courteous, the ambience is always warm and welcoming.Food is certainly of high standard with the rib eye prepared to perfection. Pepperoni pizza another highly recommended dish, can't miss mentioning the salt and pepper calamari, all the food ordered at the table looked reasonably delicious.Didn't try any desserts unfortunately, looking forward to another visit doon to give it a go.

The fish and chips and the pizza with potatoes were quite good, but I had the ravioli with seafood and they were slightly below average. The rest of the dinner was alright but the prices were too high for what we got. The cucumber cocktail was delicious though!

The food here was really so so and the glasses were not very clean. I ordered a whisky based cocktail but I couldn’t taste any whisky at all. The cocktail tasted so bad that I didn’t finish it. It just tasted like a sugary drink… the only positive things were the customer service and the view. I definitely won’t return to this restaurant.

Just about average food and service for above average prices. Food was hit and miss within our group. Some dishes nice, others bland. My ravioli was quite tasteless and also served stone cold! The waitress literally threw the plates down on the table at us too! Not what you would expect when paying $35 for some pasta. The prawn noodle dish was very nice however and also served hot. The cocktails were more like soft drinks, but still enjoyable. It's a big place, lots of tables and most of them full, so it must be a popular place even if I'm not rushing back.

Not bad overall. It took too long for someone to come to our table after we'd been seated. However once we had ordered our cocktails and food they did arrive very quickly, well 3 of the 4 orders did. For some reason the 4th order and cutlery did not arrive until a good 5 minutes later. Bizarre.The cocktails were tasty but lacked the alcohol content expected from the prices charged.So the food was good. If you're in a party of 3 or less you'll have no problems, but don't expect too much of the cocktails.

Food was okay, but considering the price we paid something more presentable than boiled vegetables as a side would be good. Chips were very oily, pizza was decent. Seemed liked RSL style food. The toilets are absolutely disgusting. I know you don’t go to a restaurant to visit the bathroom but if this is your standard for the bathroom you should be closed down. Place is overall dirty and unclean with sticky tables, food scraps in the menu, and tables left unprepared. Heaters broken so we were left in the cold. Service is nice, very friendly. Very helpful with gluten-free and lactose accomodations. Mixed feelings about this place. We came to scout it out for a Christmas party and we will not be coming here. Very shameful a restaurant blessed to be in Cockle Bay is in such poor condition.

We had chicken pasta and some nice rose wine. We asked for the pasta to be made using mushroom sauce instead of pesto and they had no issues with that and cooked it perfectly. The food was delicious. If you don’t book a table then you may end up sitting outside on the higher tables which can be awkward when eating however we still enjoyed our night. The staff were nice and service was ok.

Had the lunch special that had a great variety of choices abcs came with your choice of a beer, wine or soda. I opted got the Chorizo pizza and it was excellent. Attentive staff and great views overlooking Darling Harbor.
