The Coffee Club Café - Victoria Point
We spent a lot of money to have lunch at the Coffee Club. They didn't have any ice-cream for the drinks, the frappe was a cup of tasteless crushed ice. The chips were barely cooked, and the salad consisted of a few strands of rocket without any dressing. We all left the chips and the salads uneaten. Other usual menu items were unavailable. Someone ordered a chicken club sandwich, only to wait 40 minutes for it and be told there was no chicken available. It was a strange experience. The staff all seemed very inexperienced. I think they should have closed the kitchen under the circumstances.

Absolutely THE most horrible tasting coffee I have had. And to add insult to injury, had a hair caught in the cup lid. Also ordered a citrus tart that never turned up. Do not recommend AT ALL!!

What can I say ... As usual.for this franchise often busy ,staff friendly , food looks great presented well and smells wonderful.. though have only looked around while ordering coffees not dined here personally as yet ... Well kept store , tables are always well cleaned and tidy or occupied

The Coffee Club Café - Victoria Point
Recently had lunch at this CC. Very disappointing. They no longer recognise pension card only Seniors Card. They also charged a fee on my transaction - I paid with Debit Card. The chicken Burger and chips were overcooked. The chicken particularly. Will no longer be eating here. There is an excellent Cafe outside Woolworth's with excellent staff and the make the best smoothies I have had.

Ok so I have been to this CC before and was really busy, service and quality wasn’t too good but I put it down to them been very busy. So today my wife and gave them another go and no improvements. Cafe was not as busy as last time. We ordered two hot chocolates, fruit toast and bruschetta. The drinks came out ahead of the food. The hot chocolate basically hot milk with chocolate powder which was not stirred in, basically had a huge chunks of chocolate powder. The Drink mostly tasted like powder very gritty. The toast came out (not much can be said about toast, toast is toast..) followed by my bruschetta. The bruschetta was unrecognisable compared to menu and had sent it back twice as it looked like something else off the menu twice it was brought back and told it was correct. I have attached two pictures one from the menu and the other that was served. As for taste I would compare it to what I would think eating thick slices of cardboard with pesto. The only part I enjoyed was the egg, so basically had an poached egg valued at $16.00. The staff here quite young and inexperienced and still have a lot to learn about customer service this would be a reflection on training by CC management.

Sooo disappointing. We have been coming here for over a year. The last three times have been woeful with our last visit last Friday. Every table we saw were not cleaned down and even after mentioning it to staff still wasn’t done. Coffee was good but the food wasn’t worth the money, the bun was rock hard and the bacon even harder and impossible to eat if you didn’t have good teeth. Will be going to Capalaba for our next breakfast, the one where Big W is has awesome food. Only gave one star because staff do try to give good service. Owner/Manager needs to get this business back to where is was.

What a disappointing visit. They are very understaffed and the staff they do have wandered around taking their time with everything despite it being Saturday and busy. We were there for almost an hour and the table next to us was not cleared or cleaned the entire time, we were at the back and most tables people just had to clean themselves as they arrived. We waited for 40 minutes for eggs Benedict, which was ridiculous even for a busy morning, we watched as meal after meal sat waiting for between 10-15 minutes while the chef kept ringing the bell and food went cold before finally being taken to the customer. There was even a lovely pet with 8 legs - and considering the vacuum cleaner stands right next to it, can’t see how staff do not think to clean it? Also, please staff, smile a little. Both the waitress and the kitchen hand looked so gloomy and down in the dumps today, not welcoming at all - it brought the entire atmosphere down. Many better cafes around and I can honestly recommend this as a nice happy place to visit.
