We can't recommend A Gentle Touch Funerals enough. From start to finish they were patient, caring, understanding and truly went above and beyond to help us navigate the difficult task of organising our Dad's funeral. We would particularly like to thank Kain for being so thoughtful and accommodating. Every step of the way he had the perfect mix of professionalism and sincerity but also humour at a time we thought wasn't possible. A special thanks also goes to our celebrant Jane Donnelly who put so much time and effort into understanding who our Dad was. She spoke so accurately that some of our friends even asked us after the service if she was a relative. A big thank you again to all at a Gentle Touch.

I cannot thank the Gentle Touch Funeral team enough for their great care and attention in handling my father's final arrangements.My mother and I were immediately at ease when we walked into A Gentle Touch. The peaceful gardens and cosy sentiments of the funeral home provided an ambience that reflected my father's love of nature and desire for a warm, welcoming environment. My mother was really happy that dad was in such a beautiful environment while we arranged for his service.Words cannot express how grateful we are for the entire team's patience and incredible support. Our father's death was sudden and devastating to our family and we had no idea where to start with organising a funeral. But Don, Vili, and Kain knew the immense pain we were feeling and went above and beyond to make this tremendously difficult time a bit easier for us. They not only provided us with a beautiful and memorable service, but also ensured that every part of the funeral was suited to our family's requirements and reflected our fathers unique personality. A wonderful experience. I must say the whole process with A Gentle Touch Funeral has been truly lovely and truly perfect. This is my story in a nut shell.My husband of 10 years died late in the night.I was there for his last breath and I tried CPR and I was very obviously emotional through this experiance, when the police and the ambos asked me who will I be calling I just didn't know what the next process was. The police and the paramedic recommended A Gentle Touch Funerals. I didn't want to part from my husband so quickly. I wanted and needed time with him. I was caring for him for over 4 years of our 10-year relationship.he had a severe brain tumor and was very much disable that that point, and i was out all day, and needed more time with my husband before he was taken away.Even the police were unsure if i could keep him for longer, i had no idea of the procces of what can happen at death.Very late at night A Gentle Touch funerals answered the phone,so compassionately and with great understanding and loveliness towards myself and my departed husband. They explained to me how i was able to keep my husband till the morning, keeping his body cool and safe. I will always treasure that last night and the time i was able to have with my greiving and love and care i needed to give to my husband as a final gesture and way to deal with such a loss.It was so wonderful to have that time with him. In the morning at our agreed time they came to collect his body in the morning and they were very respectful and very lovely. They then explain to me that embalming was certainly an option as i expressed i would love to keep his body at home for longer, as the Filipinos and New Zealanders do traditionally.They Guided me beautifully through the whole process, with the casket the flowers everything was done so wonderfully there was no pressure placed on me they gave me lots of options while giving me the appropriate balance of compassion information an advice and guidance and ultimately it was my decision in the end.I also had some computer problems and I seriously made a mess of all the photographs and made multiple copies of all the photographs and I couldn't clean it up in time. Part of their tech team truly came to the rescue and saved me truly I was so stressed out by having a computer problem and not being able to get the photographs probably display for his funeral. I must say, A Gentle Touch Funerals has gone over and above to help me and I have to express how genuinely appreciative I am as I would not have been able to provide all the photographs I wanted to display in the amount of time for the funeral and the investment they made to into my mistake was truly a godsent.It was truly a wonderful experience and i was able to grieve and to come to terms with what has happened with their help.I made a visit to my husband between him leaving the house and the embalming process it was really lovely and they presented him beautifully with some flowers on his chest.. Everyone at Gentle Touch Funerals were simply delightful to deal with and today I have picked up my husband's Ashes.The whole experience with the arrangements and the help that they have given me in the guidance has truly been perfect. I cannot say that enough.I'm forever grateful and having such a positive and wonderful experience in such a challenging time.I highly recommend this company.Very well done and everyone is very accommodating and truly a pleasure to deal with.Thank you again to the whole team.

I went to A Gentle Touch in Mudgeeraba with a sad heart and a brain that was in a daze. My mother had passed 2 days before.I met Kain and in no time he had organised everything.His light sense of humour and caring manner made all the difference to me. Purely professional with arms wide open. A gem.

A Gentle Touch Funerals recently looked after our family as they guided us through the process of planning our mothers Funeral service, and care of our mother, with patience and flexibility. During another difficult season of Covid19 restrictions, they showed compassion as we travelled through the changes and cancellations of the elaborate Funeral service originally planned. AGTF were able to provide our family a warm and homely chapel in which to farewell our mother. Thank you, Anita and family.

Four weeks ago we lost our precious daughter Nicole and we choose A Gentle Touch Funerals and we couldn't have made a better choice. I would like to thank the Don, Margaret, Pat and all the kind and compassionate staff at a Gentle Touch.The minute I walked in to their beautifully appointed funeral home and after speaking to Don, I knew this was the place to be.His professionalism and nature put me and my family at ease after the sad passing of my beloved Father.From beginning to end, it was a pleasure amidst grieving. The touching service with Pat's empathy and expertise with words incorporated the sensitivity of the great grandchildren's first experience of death, so fitting and appropriate for their understanding. Her gentle touch was evident and loved by us.Everything was done with much care and consideration but most important, I didn't feel rushed or pressured throughout the initial organising, right to the final petal that fell on my Dear Father's coffin. My family and i wish to thank AGT funerals for the service received for my late husband Greg. We had a very different type of funeral which involved using his truck. Nothing was too hard for them, everything was done with ease. We found all the staff extremely compassionate and helped us make the right decisions. Its a time of sadness and stress, but with Don's help he got us through it and managed to have a laugh at some point. As we didn't have a celebrate organized, Don suggested a lady called Karen, she was amazing. Thanks to all for making this day memorable in so many ways
