If you've ever teased the thought of trying out martial arts, or if you've spent time away from the mats and you're looking to get back into it, do yourself a favour and come on down to Garra Nambour. The atmosphere is phenomenal, the training is phenomenal, and the coach has a patient approach to teaching that will take any intimidation out of trying something new. You will surprise yourself with what you will learn and you'll have fun while doing it, I cannot recommend this school highly enough!

Michael is an excellent communicator and has been invaluable in helping me understand the complexities of BJJ as a beginner. He is an incredibly talented practitioner and his passion for the art is infectious. I highly recommend Garra Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Nambour to those just setting out on their BJJ journey, or already experienced on the mats.

Michael is an absolutely amazing coach. He is so good with kids and my kids pretty hard work! Took a long time to find something my son enjoyed and he absolutely loves going to his sessions twice a week!

Our children love going to Garra Jiu Jitsu in Nambour every week. They have a great facility and everyone is very friendly and supportive. The coach Mike is brilliant with the kids. He spends alot of time to ensure they understand what the drill is whilst creating a fun learning environment. Highly recommend signing up for a trial to check it out!

I have beeen attending Garra Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Nambour since it started.The founder, Michael Pegg is a Black Belt, as well as a Master's qualified accredited Exercise Physiologist.He has assisted me with strength and conditioning and overall fitness in private classes.Michael is an absolute professional and has so much knowledge about the body and the way it moves. I highly reccomend Garra Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

From technical concepts to the philosophy behind the art, Micheal’s ability to communicate is always clear and immediately applicable to training or competing at all levels. I highly recommend training at Garra Nambour!

I had an amazing visitor session! The gym has top-knocth techniques and it is your choice to go for light rolls or very strong rolls. I am impressed with the great welcoming of headcoach and members. The gym is also very family friendly with a great environment for getting the little ones into healthy and disciplined environment. I am not a local but it is definitely a gym I always want to visit when around the Sunny Coast! Ps. Very good training and good laughs, everything you need to start or end your day!
