I was impressed by a friends recommendation and Google reviews. Unfortunately my experience wasn't so great however. Both when I called to book and also when I dropped my car off, I asked to be called with quotes before going ahead with any work on my old but well maintained car, because on a low income I need to prioritise jobs. I'm sure this is the case for many people. It is pretty normal when taking a car in for a service to be called mid-service and choose what things to go ahead and complete or wait to do.I dropped my car off at 8am and at 2pm was called to be told everything was finished. I asked for brake pads and discs to be replaced, but they only did pads. I did not ask for an engine mount to be replaced, and wasn't quoted for this although it was done. When I protested that I hadn't even been given a quote despite asking twice to be given a heads up on price before any work was done, I was told to ask my dad to pay". Condescending

Have been using John & his Team for the past 25 years for all my Auto Service & Repairs. Work has always been carried out to the highest of standards at reasonable prices. Have found John to be very friendly, knowledgeable and honest.
