Night Noodle Markets
Good to be out and enjoyable atmosphere but food wise was money hungry event. Couple of the vendors were scavengers. Food was par. Some food bloggers / friends showed me some carved meat for one of the dishes so based on that I ordered it. By time we went was chopped up into bite sizes masqueraded with fried onions for volume to extract more money per customer. 25 bucks lol You know who u are !!! And the meat wasn't great anyway even if you served it normally #keepitreal

1 star because when I think of what food markets are this is not it. You expect to be able to flit stall to stall, and try different things at a reasonable cost. That's the point of having so many different vendors in one location. Instead the experience is: Line up for 30-60 minutes to order, then line up again in the collection" queue for 20-30 minutes. Pay restaurant prices even though you're not getting restaurant service...because it's a market. To be clear

Wasted money and time. Queue was long and the food price was ridiculous. Nothing below $20 for food. The flying noodle is the worst. Left most of the dish untouched. The soufflé was fine but didnt worth $20. Coconut was $9. Crazy! Never again.

If I could give this event a minus No Stars I would. Extremely overpriced & up to an hour waiting in lines for Mediocre Food! Park where this was held was extremely muddy, & no seating available. Poor Planning. Get your act together! Extremely crowded with little to no order or culture. Don't waste your time or money! Trust me. Extremely disappointed.

Experienced over-priced, mediocre food after a very long wait. All the vego options advertised were unavailable. The Night Noodle Market has has destroyed a much-loved community park and it will take months to recover. In my opinion, environmental vandalism like this reflects very poorly on all the brands associated with this out-dated and poor-quality event.

It's OK. The queue is quite extreme but the stalls are quick so it's bearable. There are too few seats so expect to be eating thick-sauced food while standing up in the dark.Hoy Pinoy is probably the highlight of the festival. Too bad the weather's cold so their meat go from tender to tough in just 10mins.I also love that Dan Murphy's opened a non-alcohol stall. The drinks are quite decent.

Nothing set up to cater to Melbourne El Niño weather pattern. Rainy, muddy, no undercover areas. Tried 2 of the stalls that looked the best and both very sad sad overpriced food. Will never go back to any of these Melbourne food events. Every time I give it a shot I am so disappointed. I wish I read the other reviews before going. Don’t waste your time or money, this city has way more to offer at a lower price with more comfort. The cherry on top my partner threw up all of his food on exiting the market and from reading the rest of the reviews his not the only one.

ridiculous queue's make this a non-event, you are much better off finding a good local restaurant, there are plenty to choose from in Surry Hills. Also, you will be eating whilst standing in mud, not the best experience considering the prices.

Stay away from flying noodle, not good for $25. The ingredients that make each dish are plonked on top separately to the too saucy and sweet noodles.Other food mostly good.

This was possibly my worst food market experience. The queues were very long. Because of the event's name, I thought I couldn't go wrong with a bowl of noodles. Unfortunately the most redeeming thing about my dish, looking quite gimmicky, was its instaworthiness. My dish had a few very tasty bits of pork, a few tasteless vegies, and a mass of cold noodles. If it was half the price I would have just put it down to mass-produced food at the market. However it was $25, definitely not worth the money! Additionally there was not much seating left. A real fizzer of a night.
