FOREST SECRETS
Forest secrets is a great way to spend an hour or so with the kids. You could possibly stretch to 2 hours but certainly no more. We were lucky enough to get a glimpse of a wild platypus which resides in the river there.

FOREST SECRETS
This was really cool. Kids thought so too. Get a tucker box of things to eat and you eat them at specified points on the way. Kids get a quiz to fill in along the way for an extra treat which keeps them engaged. Good chance to see platypus! We even saw a snake. Guy at the counter is super friendly and informative.

FOREST SECRETS
Discovered this place by chance. A lovely spot where there is a set up trail for bush tucker and learning about some of the fauna and flora of Tasmania. The bonus is that it situated on a river where a platypus and at the moment her baby preside. You aren't certain to see the platypus as it is a wild one but there is a good chance to! Good luck!
