Don't book online. You pay an extra $3 on top of your ticket, then still have to line up to get food and drink.

It's pretty great! Watched a few movies here with friends, family etc. I've made some good memories here! The popcorn is great too!! Sadly since it's a cinema though the food costs quite a bit. I still love it though!

Looks nice from the outside and inside isn't too shabby either. Staff member was friendly, helpful and polite. Clean amenities. Seats in cinema were clean and comfy. The establishment lost one star due to the lack of seating both inside and out. Somewhere to sit inside when you like to get to places early, as I do, to wait for the movie to start before the doors open and somewhere to sit outside while you wait for your ride home to arrive would be nice.

Movie was great and staff were very nice. Food is limited though- pop corn, a few different lollies 2-3 different icecream options and a few drink options with the only 2 in bottled form being water and juice. Would have been great to have more variety of food options

Reading cinemas has been a standout quality theatre in Townsville for well over 20 years now and the service and standard are excellent. My latest visit there was on a very busy morning for a large blockbuster film so there was a decent sized crowd. The staff kept everything flowing and tickets and food / drinks were sold in a prompt and fluid fashion. The theatre itself was great and the movie enjoyed. Great work Reading Cinemas for a no fuss experience.

Desperately in need of a tidy up.Could be so much better with all the room they have.It's just barren and uninviting plus 9 times out of 10 it's also dirty..I think townsville may have the worst cinemas in Queensland, Rocky, Cairns & Mackay have great cinemas..
