We were planning to renovate when we had the good fortune in finding Anton Engelmayer.Anton was already renovating a house in our street not far from us.We asked to meet him as we had already heard how well things were going with our neighbours.We had already spent time with design and concept and all of those issues but we needed costings and a builder.Anton was asked to quote on the total renovation.He then gave us a detailed breakdown of those costs and was quite objective in his assessment – “I will get quotes on any part that you are unhappy with as long as it meets my quality standards”We got what we paid for – outstanding.Anton was quite determined in using all his contacts and that proved to be the best for us.From the draftsmen to the plumber, carpenters, electrician, they were all excellent.And because of Anton’s relationship with them he coordinated the timetables so that everything flowed well.They were all fantastic to work with and have in our home as we lived on the premises while the renovation took place.It was completed in only 8 weeks – must be some sort of record!Anton is passionate about his work and his attention to detail is extraordinary. And he would always go the extra mile to make us happy.We would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone and would certainly use him again.

I could not recommend Anton more! He was able to create a new floor-plan for our renovation/extension project working with the old house as much as possible to keep costs down. His experience showed as he thought of using the existing house in ways we never would have. He really listened to our wants/needs (specifically a two stage project so we didn’t have to move out) and came up with a great plan to achieve our goals, all within our budget. He openly shared his knowledge offering lots of little tips and tricks along the way. A kind, personable and professional person to work with.

Anton and his team where very capable and professional to deal with and the trades he used produced a quality project.The design and site conditions were difficult and when faced with unforeseen obstacles we would discuss options, make a decision and they would get on with the job.Despite Anton having a serious medical condition part way through the project, the team were able to complete it almost on time and on budget for which we were very grateful.If you have a project that is a little difficult or different, then I would expect Calm Living homes to have the skills to complete it.

We recently engaged Anton Englemeyer of Calm Living Homes to complete a knock down/rebuild of our dream custom designed Hampton's style home. Initially we reached out to Anton to get advise on our home extension - but we got so much more! Anton has a wealth of knowledge and on top of that is a wonderful person to deal with. I am really glad we found Anton at Calm Living Homes to provide us with some badly needed expert advice on our home renovation plans. We are undertaking major renovation works on an old home and we want to manage our own project and be as involved as possible. However, we are not builders!
