The most unassuming spot in Newport turned out to the BEST Asian food I have ever had! The owner took my allergies very seriously and definitely came through with so many different flavours for a Sunday lunch. I don’t usually write reviews for restaurants but this was definitely an exception that needed to be made! Would highly recommend the rendang roti wrap along with their fantastic coffee ! Thank you so so so much! Will definitely be back very soon!

Mother's Day was a treat this year, more so than usual. A special banquet had been created with expert care. We enjoyed dishes like: roasted pork, hock Tai salad, an earthy duck confit and a shitake noodle dish as well as baked pumpkin in red curry and beef rendang, were some of the highlights. The service was friendly and competent.

Coffees were made really well, croissants were great (I’ve never had a raspberry-pistacchio croissant before) and the place was open, well lit, and decorated real nice. Staff were lovely too! (Also, we found ourselves in Newport and this was the nearest coffee place on Maps. With only 3 reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect, so I’m here to confirm for anyone else in my position, that it’s great, its just new!)

The food here is absolutely divine! Good quality coffee and some of the most genuinely friendly and welcoming staff you will find. Considering moving so this place can become my local.

Layers of flavour with different courses. Starting with prawn spring rolls, followed by spicy fish rissoles sitting on a house-made kasundi. A refreshing pork hock Thai salad arrived soon after, followed by a smoky duck with shiitake mushrooms noodles. What followed was a subtly delicious pumpkin curry juxtaposed with a rich rendang beef curry, with lots of fresh steamed rice and perfectly crispy roti.A delicious Mother's Day lunch. Well done Indi-kitch!

Great food. Heard about this place from a friend in the area. Vanitha was such a lovely lady and her food is great. My fav was the mamak Mee goreng. Reminds me of back home in Malaysia. Will come again with my parents.

Dropped in for a hot drink, the chai was delicious. There are 2 types available, the one I had was excellently presented and freshly made (from scratch) it wasn't just a hot drink it was an experience. The passion of the owner was inspiring, and though we didn't eat there, we will return very soon to sample Indi-kitchen's curries.
