A wonderful place to camp if the lake is up which it is now .You can take your pic of lawn under the trees or sandy dirt not under trees.A little bit of road noise if camped near the highway end .It is only 1.3 k walk along the lake edge thru town to the Bowling club .

This place is unreal and peaceful. I would never get bored living by this lake! Highly recommended for holiday camping with your love ones!

On the lake. Nice grass border and plenty of water ATM. Plenty of room . Good walk to shops.

Love seeing all the water birds. Toilets provided, no water, for that we were told there was a town water tap at the dump point. Unfortunately, we had very inconsiderate neighbours on either side of us who thought it was OK to run their generators from morning up to 9 pm at night. Other than that, it's a lovely area

Great spot to camp, supply’s not far up the road (fuel, food, grog) a nice breeze for the hot days and a gentle slope from camp site. Bring shoes you can wear in the water as it’s a little rocky in the shallows, just enough to annoy you.

Visited on July 29th 2022, -5.6 degrees Celsius. Very cold but the beautiful sunset and sunrise made up for it.
