We are blessed to have such a wonderful asset right on our door step- Frankston Foreshore! Perfect spot to sit, walk or swim all year round - was a sanity saver during lock-downs being able to stroll on pur clean beaches

Beautiful beach when the wind is down. Very kid and family safe. Great for pets after 7pm. Life guard patrolled during the warmer months also. Plenty of local places to eat. Would highly recommend, as long as the wind is down and the sun is out.

If you're looking for a kid-friendly beach in Melbourne that isn't too crowded, then this one might be right up your alley. During the week, it was relatively quiet, and parking was a breeze. Although I've heard that it can get busier during summer and hot sunny days, like most beaches in Melbourne. One of the best things about this beach is the ample seating and grassy areas, perfect for picnics with your loved ones. There are plenty of benches and tables to sit and eat at, which is always a bonus when you're spending a day at the beach. Additionally, there are two main spots right on the beach (with plenty more places to choose from a short walk away) where you can order food and drinks, making it convenient for families with young children. One of the highlights of this beach is the stunning view of Melbourne City across the water. On a clear day, you can see the cityscape in all its glory, which makes for an excellent backdrop for those all-important beach selfies.Overall, if you're looking for a relaxed day out with family and friends, this beach is an excellent choice. a short walk away of space, beautiful views, and easy access. It's a great place to soak up the sun and enjoy all that Melbourne's beaches have to offer.

This place is awesome now, just up from the awesome playground, great barbeque/picnic area, great areas to sit under the big shady trees, swim, kayak, paddle board, fish off the pier, boat ramp. Well maintained toilet block.. Biggest let down is cost, unbelievable and if you miss the sign on entering the only other sign is the two meters, so beware look around as I'm sure the fines wouldn't be cheap either....

Frankston was the first place we pulled into on the Peninsula and we were mightily impressed. Walked along the lovely beachfront pathway and found a great little cafe for lunch. Life was good

Beautiful clean water and soft clean sand that stretches for a long way. Nice, calm shallows for kids to play in, and the water is warm. The foreshore has some cool sculptures and food places that overlook the beach. There are lots of things to see in the water. I saw starfish, skates, moonsnails, and small crabs. The pier is lovely to walk along.

A clean and less crowded beach. It was a great day to enjoy with less wind. Safe for small kids too as beach water is really shallow at the start. You can sit and relax as kids can play safely. You can see some shops near the pier. A nice restaurant nearby. Paid parking at the beach but it’s easy to get a space.

One of the best beaches to hang around in Mornington Peninsula. I would recommend to visit the beach in the evening for the associated splendid sun set sceneries. Walking towards the sea on the pier is quite wonderful.Nice place to dip and have a swim as well, and the proximity to all the major shops and restaurants along with Frankston railway station makes it ideal to visit.

Wonderful park, so close to the beach. I have not been for years. The toilets are a huge improvement from the old portacom toilets. The playground is a lovely concept. I like the access for all. However the playground really is a bit boring. The 18 month old loved the area with the bells in the floor and chimes to hit, but there needs to be way more of these interactive things for children to do. As a Teacher I am a little at a loss on what the designers were aiming for the children to actually do on their playground. There are 3 BBQ but 2 were not working. Also a water tap where people can fill a water bottle is a must. Almost impossible to get a cold drink at the park.Worth a visit due to the amazing location and safe nature of the the park. Good secure fences keeping kids safe from the road.It is a lovely park but definitely needs some improvements.
