Super friendly and helpful staff.Some may think the hotel is old, but it's well kept, clean and neat; certainly has it's charm. It's right at the centre of the main village; great location.

Beautiful spot up in the mountains.. a great place any time of the year... Well maybe not around March when the blowies are out with a vengeance but any other time... Paradise

Not a big River, rather more like an oversized creek but clear and replete with plenty of pools and little Falls. Starting soon at Dead Horse Gap on the Alpine way you can follow it on a walking trail as it cuts through the valley past Thredbo Village, Park camping grounds, the SkiTube terminal, the Lake Crakenback Resort. Expect to see bike trails developing.

A very pretty and rugged part of the world. It's pretty remote and somewhat off the beaten track so keep that in mind.
