We ordered from Black Salt Kitchen tonight and very disappointed. The food was below average, not fresh and no flavor. We ordered the plain noodles and they were terrible. It was cold plain noddles with a drizzle of oyster sauce on top, not tossed in the wok, just cold boiled noddles. Very disappointing, won’t be back.

We ordered chow Kway Teow without chili paste but unfortunately chili paste was in the dish. We also ordered special fried rice without peas & peas were in the dish. Considering this was the first time we ordered here it was a bit disappointing that attention to details were missed

Delicious food. In summary, Black ribs were divine, black bean noodles have great “wok air”, tofu stir fry with garlic sauce was comforting and the special fried rice made it a home run!

This place is a nice Asian fusion restaurant that makes yummy fried food plus more. Their homemade iced teas are pretty good too, particularly their lychee iced tea. Double thumbs up to their banana fritter with ice cream. #asainfusion #friedrice #lycheeicedtea#bananafritter

Very delicious food and lovely service.Highlights were the sweet and tangy Black Salt Ribs (finger-licking good!) as well as the creamy Garlic Butter Prawns.The chefs definitely know what they are doing and you can really taste and smell the 'breath of wok' in every dish.Their satay was very tasty - not too sweet with a nice level of heat.Finished the meal off with a banana fritter which was an absolute treat!Will be coming back to sample the rest of the menu.

Having lived in Asia and travelled extensively in that region, I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the food served up here. The photos that are online look nothing like what you pay for. The flavour, well there isn’t much to talk about because there isn’t much at all. Not sure how the star rating is so glamorous for this place, as what my family and I experienced was miles off 4.5. More like 2-2.5 tonight. Maybe they had an off night but we won’t be going back. Hope this helps with making a decision about spending decent money on very average food.

I m a local and I have been to black salt several times.Most of the times the food is great however the fried chicken with the spice salt was dry, the fried kuay teow was burnt the night I visited :(

Been here for dinner few times! Besides the pork ribs with plum sauce, wanton soup and fried rices, these are 2 recommended dishes especially the boat club mussels for those who like mussels, worth to try even it’s take a while to serve
