Set in an historic building, the Windmill Cafe has a menu with options for vegan requirements. This was a pleasant surprise and welcome addition to the limited options in the region and, for that reason alone, worth the visit. The food was good (a little heavy for my liking), but not exceptional.

There is a lot of space, rug up, there is heating but some seating may be cooler. Worth it, l had the falafel bowl, it was huge and very tasty, coffee was the best. Others had the falafel wrap and chicken burger, all happy with these meals.

Rare to see smashed avo at $15 in these post Covid days. Not only it's reasonably priced, the quantity (the big brekkie is indeed very massive), quality and taste are all there too. The coffee is pretty good too.Carrot cake is a must try!

Plenty of seating options available inc. semi indoor and courtyard that surrounded with landscape and water feature. Foods selection is good too inc. light meals, coffees, drinks and dessert. Located in one of the largest historical building (Toora Bargain Centre) in town. Don't forget to have a little browse on some of the historical buildings on the street. Relaxing and cute little town.
