BWS Whitsunday Village

Never been to Airlie Beach before today - the amazing lady that served us this morning only further showed how amazing the people and this place is - I also feel terrible for not remembering her name. Service was friendly and kind, not forced. I felt right at home. We will be back here next time we come to Airlie.Also, comparing BWS here to NSW BWS - QLD beats NSW by a mile. Competetive prices which no NSW BWS has, and brilliant service.Thankyou so much for that!

Worst store in airlie. EXTREMELY rude people behind the counter. Espeicially the old woman.She made us go and apologies to the people in the store because we where making to much noise, which we really werent. Also she took the things i would buy out of my hand, like i was some 6 year old, and told me to leave the store.And as i can see on the other reviews this is not the first time she has been really rudeIf i could give 0, i would. I have never experienced anything like this.DONT EVER GO IN THERE IF YOU WANT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!!

Extremely rude staff. Specifically the (Not so much) lady at the counter that seems to both hate life and her job. (Shift 10am on Monday 01/02/2021)I hope the management would do something about it.

What a terrible experience I had today. Such a rude unfriendly person behind the counter served me such a an unfriendly manner will not be back

Probably the only bad experience in my 10 nights at Airlie was when the older lady behind the counter who seemed grumpy and unhappy refused to sell me a small purchase of mojito because my partner (who is 26 and covered in tattoos) didn’t have her ID. I showed her my ID showing I am 25 but she still refused (does she think I’m dating a teenager??). I understand policy is policy, which is fine, but the way she went about it was very negative and looking at us as if we are idiots for trying to purchase alcohol. Just a strange encounter from one adult to another. Next door ended up having the same product cheaper anyway and treated us as adults with some level of respect.

Extremely unprofessional and belittling behaviour from the staff. I am VERY disappointed and disgusted by the dirty looks and whispering we received while in this establishment, specifically by a staff member named Caleb who seems to be receiving quite a few negative reviews on here. Hopefully management can address and fix this issue asap!!

Wow. Have been going here every few days for the last 2 weeks. Buying the same thing each time. Today though, the crabby lady at the counter decided that there was a limit and we could not purchase all of our order (the same thing we've been purchasing in the same store for the last 2 weeks). Anyway, rules are rules so we obliged but the way the staff handled it was very rude. Terrible customer service from someone unhappy in their job. We will go next door from now on
