A few years back I took my car in to get a pink slip and they had my car for 3 days. I gave them another chance as they were my local mechanic and it was convenient. They were quicker the second time. I called today to enquire about a receipt as I had a problem with my car insurance. The man on the phone asked me to call back later and when I did was very rude and yelled at me when i asked a question about the receipt - my dad walked over as he could hear him yelling through the phone. Customer service was shocking and he was very unprofessional.

Jeep Wrangler TJ 97 (convertible)Professionalism:Dropped my car off at 7am (booked) and was told at 5pm to wait till tomorrow. Asked if he was going to leave my car outside and he said mumbled some answer implying he would. Well it stormed that night and my car didnt have a roof. I had to drive out myself and throw a tarp on it. No mention of it when I picked it up until I brought it up right at the end. Seats and electronics all wet. Items could of been stolen too.Workmanship:Went in for a rego check and issues with my steering making noise. Without even looking at it I was told 'I wouldn't touch that car' because it had mods done to it. Some mechanic. Couldn't even get a quote to repair it. Ended up just putting grease on a knob to stop the noise. Did a rego check and realised after my horn still isn't working. Some rego check.Wouldn't use these guys again.

I had to get 2 pink slips for 2 different cars done last minute and Greg the legend, fit me in. He was so quick and efficient, was great to keep me in the loop with any work needed to be done on the cars. Everything was done at such a good price tooThanks again Greg and team!

I will not use this service ever again. I had heard that they are rude to women so I had my partner make the call for me (just for a regular service). They agreed on the price and said they would call if anything else needed done. I dropped off the car and they were unbelievably rude to me. They called my partner and said that the car needed this and that and it would be a few hundred dollars more (my car is fairly new). My partner agreed to one part not the other and the price was again agreed on. When I went to pick up the car, the invoice was 80 dollars more. I commented that this was not agreed but they claimed otherwise and I had to pay in order to get my car . They also filled my tires up to 41 which affected my air pressure sensors and put their sticker on my back window (without asking). Absolutely appalling, dishonest and rude service.

My car feels the best it has in years! These guys are super thorough and managed to find solutions to issues other mechanics couldn’t. Great down to earth advice and I trust their recommendations. They were recommended to me and I will definitely go back.

Thank you!!I really appreciate all that you did to get my car repaired! I called today in a panic as my car wasn't starting and I needed to pick the children up from daycare. I spoke to Tass and he told me to bring my car asap and he would look at it. I could see that they were very busy. Tass tested my car battery and it was dead. He said he could replace it right on the spot. It took them 10 mins and I was fixed.Bronte Auto made it a hassle free experience. They did it in such a professional's manner!I really appreciate all that you did to get my car repaired! I am beyond pleased with their service, I will tell everyone.

Went in for a standard pink slip. They decided to replace my wiper blades without contacting me about it, and then charged me $123 for the privilege. Just part of the racket. My car is a very common & modest model. Replacements cost about $30 at most, and takes a few minutes to replace. Something I would happily do myself. They also didn't let me know the car was ready - had to call up. They've lost what would have been regular business from me.

Highly recommend this garage - my alternator needed replacing - I got my car towed there by the NRMA, within 24hrs the part had been ordered and replaced, and was back on the road. Thanks!

I'm rating these guys even though I'm not technically a customer yet (until next week...). I came for (free) guidance on a scary issue with a car I was about to buy, and the manager - Greg - was kind enough to indulge me. (Thank you so much Greg!). I am therefore lining up work for you from me & two others!

I have used this business for 8 years now, mostly rude particularly the elderly gentleman that answers the phone who may run the business, I have used them mainly for convenience but today I just got tired of the surliness from him and general unfriendly attitude of staff, it doesn’t take a lot to be pleasant and you don’t know what your customers are going through or the impact your rude demeanour will have on their day, have at it Bronte Auto you won ‘t see me or any of my friends again constantly quoted one price and paying another, yes definitely treats women with no respect at all
