Ian Taylor and his Team at North Perth have my utmost respect and gratitude for all that they have done for me and my family. They took the heavy burden out of organising the special farewell for my loved one at a time where thinking straight was impossible. Went to a funeral today, and was shocked to see the disrespect of this company plonking a dozen or more chairs on somebody’s grave. There was vacant plots on the other side, but they set up a marquee over this lady’s grave (whom we know) with such disregard of her family who were there. The family was quite upset over this, and I don’t blame them. I would have been LIVID, and probably thrown the chairs and marquee off if it was my family’s grave.

The assistance we received to organise a small funeral at Purslowe and Chipper recently was brilliant. Melissa's smiling face and friendly demeanour when entering the facility was very comforting and nothing seemed too much trouble. Josephine facilitated the funeral arrangements and walked us through the options in a positive and compassionate manner. Her excellent suggestions made the whole process straightforward and the day of the service was as stress free as possible, mainly because of her presence and guidance. It's easy to say Melissa and Josephine were only doing their job" but they do it so well and it was so nice to have their compassion and support when needed. Highly recommended."

We recently lost our dear sister. Dealing with the loss was difficult, but Ian and his team were compassionate, kind and understanding and guided us through one of our life's most traumatic times. Ian took great care with every detail, no matter how small to make the farewell special and personal. I have to give them one star as that is the lowest. If I could go lower, like they did I would give it to them. I commenced negotiations for my partner of 32 years funeral. There were difficulties with the Executor who was part of his family. I paid $15000.00 on the 16th of January 2023. I never got a receipt until the 2nd of February when I demanded one, so they made one up on letter head. This unscrupulous firm made my contract invalid and didn't notify me or refund my money. They signed a new contract with the Executor. This action by them gave the Executor the right to pick up the ashes. My partner died on Christmas day. I only just received the ashes. This company gave the attendance cards from the funeral to his family. I couldn't go to the funeral as I was so distraught about what Purslowe and Chipper and the family had done to me. I went to their office to deliver the clothes my partner was to be interned in. While standing at reception talking to my friend, Mellissa, the receptionist advised me that my contract had been cancelled and I would not be getting my partners ashes or the Death Certificate. What professional company delivers that sort of information in reception. That in fact I no longer had a contract. What company treats people like this? I never cancelled my contract or withdrew my authority although that is what the receptionist told me. They never formally advised me. These people certainly want the money. My $15000 was credited to the Executor, in his name, on an account for more money sent to me. Not a single courtesy was paid to me once they voided my contract. I am still recovering from the agony they put me through. Don't deal with people like this. Once your loved one is cremated or buried, nothing will bring them back and the memories will last a lifetime. I will never forget the lack of common courtesy, empathy or lack of caring these people showed.

Yesterday we held the service of a dear friend's mum at the North Perth Chapel of Purslowe & Chipper Funerals. From the first day (on the morning of her passing), throughout the process of arranging the service and on the day, the staff were fabulous - professional, caring and compassionate, Big thanks Ian and Josephine and all the team who made the day so seamless and respectful. Also a huge thanks to Carmel Markham Celebrant who did a wonderful job - authentic, compassionate and mindful - we could not recommend her highly enough. It was worthy of five stars and more - the family and all who attended commented on what a special service they provided.

Can not put into words how amazing Melissa & Her Staff truly are. The kindness, compassion and dedication to their job they have is truly heart-warming, especially at a time when you need it most. From the bottom of my broken heart, thankyou for taking such great care of my beautiful baby girl.
