Just moved into the area, was looking for a new mechanic and I am so glad that I went to Belmont Motor Repairs. I had only just bought a Swift second hand and it was up for its major service. The team was so professional, knowledgeable, had great attention to detail and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them.

I went there on last minute for a problem with my car, after having been refused by another mechanic.It turns out it wasn't a big thing, Shawn just looked ta the car and fixed the problem in 5 minutes, for nothing.Very friendly and super helpful. Thank you very much

I had a split 6 ribbed all systems engine utilities belt that split into two halves and threw off one half into the sump area. Luckily the remaining three ribbed section of belt continued to operate the car until i got home after an 1800 km round trip from Swansea to Brisbane and back. BMR sourced a replacement belt late on the next day after visiting them mid afternoon and replaced the split belt that day for pick up in the evening before close of business at 5:30pm. I am most grateful as I needed the car the next day and will be returning soon to sort out the old leaks responsible for the belt split in the first place. Highly recommend BMR. Regards, Garry Brell

Would give zero stars if I could. I had my brakes re done at BMR a few months back. I drove my vehicle after having the work done and there was a noticeable shudder in the front end steering. Took it back to have it test driven by the mechanics and was told the wheels needed balancing and there was nothing they could do. The wheels were fine before the repairs. I took my car to O'Neills tyres at Belmont and paid to have them balanced. Picked up my vehicle an hour later, still shuddering after the wheel balance. Dropped it back to be looked at again. Picked it up the next day and was shown photos of what BMR had done. They had driven countersunk bolts into the brake hub, bolts that were never there in the first place. The counter sunk bolt heads stood proud of the brake hub stopping the wheel from being secured tightly hence the shudder. No help, cost me more in the mean time. Workmanship was amateur at its best. BMR were my go to mechanics, never again after that experience.
