Tilmouth Well Roadhouse
TRADING HOURS ARE WRONGTrading hours written here are wrong they don’t open until 8am. THEY DON’T OPEN UNTIL 8pm EITHER - sign on the door says 8am until late (the definition of late to be determined by god knows what).Best to fill up in Alice or Yuendumu (24hr fuel at the outback shop).It’d be nice if businesses could update their google accounts but I guess that’s asking too much.Maybe Tilmouth should invest in a 24hr bowser?

Tilmouth Well Roadhouse
This is the only fuel stop between Alice Springs and Halls Creek. The Roadhouse is approximately 200ks north west on the Tanami Road. The photos were taken on the Tanami road at my camp. The sun setting in the West and the night falling in the East. The crow was sitting on the trig point that was his camp for the night. This camp is the highest point in the des art track we'll maintained

Tilmouth Well Roadhouse
Had lunch at tilmouth today and was very impressed. Friendly conversation on arrival, food was tasty and came out quickly. Great little spot for a rest.

Fantastic place to stop the night on the Tanami. Hot showers, clean amenities, green grass and a great fella running the place. Put this one on your itinerary.

An awful place to work for. I stayed here for a week and then left. Unlivable staff accommodation. Cigarette butts and litters were everywhere. Managers and other staffs members were not happy to help. Dancing and making racket overnight. If you are going to work here, rethink it! Unless you want to live with a bunch of freaks.

Traveling the tanami? Good spot to lay over and wash the red dirt off, refuel and resupply. Staff very friedly, tucker and bar worth putting on the chaff bag. Have a dip in the pool to cool off the desert heat Dont catch yourself out by passing by. Last public fuel and supplys with hot showers washing machines for a distance. Acomodation onsite is rustic to say the least but airconditioning is there. Pleanty of space to erect the camper and sit by the fire under the desert stars. If you cross the Nabberby creek heading north you have gone too far

I wasn’t to say a big thank you to Chris, a very valuable employee, who went out of his way to assist with a problem with my camper trailer. I believe he went well beyond the call of duty.Restaurant well worth a visit as well.

The gentleman that served me was great, the showers are clean & tidy & plenty of stuff in the shop & the Lady who cooked my burger today was Absolutely Gorgeous .Thankyou for your hospitality & I definitely recommend this rd house as a top place to stop.chris Fullgrabe WA

Another terrific roadhouse! Quiet and great atmosphere. Rooms small but comfy. Food amazing. Could become a favourite place! Only 2hrs from Alice Springs on a good road.
