Absolutely magnificent!Possibly the best French restaurant I've been to outside of Paris. It is a very small one man band restaurant serving magnificent food hidden away in Balmain.I had schalops followed by beef bourgogne followed by a creme brule. Every dish was perfectly prepared and the bourgogne was easily the best I've ever tasted.

I have been here twice. Please be aware I am vegetarian and they are not. The staff are lovely. The vegetarian food is excruciatingly bad. The truffle arancini balls are inedible, dry nuggets of doom. The vegetarian crepes are a disgrace. I have formerly cooked and eaten meat-based French food and have eaten in France, Australia and the UK lots of French food that is so much better. Massively overrated.

Very average and not very authentic french cuisine. I have been here a few times because friends like it but I think it is overrated and not very french. There are better alternatives in the area.

Absolutely delicious food. The coq au vin outstanding. The chicken tender and melting in the mouth. Had the good fortune of meeting the chef who has been cooking french cuisine for nearly thirty years. The sauce: pure reduction of stock - no flour added to thicken, so completely gluten-free as well. A great dining experience. Waitress was lovely..

The food is ok for an average meal. I would not come here for a special occasion though. Unfortunately their price point is toward a special occasion. The seafood flavour is overpowered by the cheese

Great little French cafe tucked away at the end of Darling Street Balmain. Loved the authentic French cuisine and presentation. We were there for lunch on a Saturday and front of house/waiter/chef James was delightful. Will go again and recommend for casual french cuisine. BYO so match it with your wine of choice. We chose La Mule Rosé

There weren't many customers on our night so it was quiet for us to enjoy our dinner. Didn't wait too long between each course. The food was delicious and always hot when it came to the table. The food portion size was perfect - not too much or less. The crepe was excellent!! A sweet note to complete the 3-course dinner. Friendly and helpful staff.

Good food but only some of it is French. It was delicious though, we went for dinner and i would highly recommend both the steaks and the lamb ragout pasta.The waiters working were hovering over us waiting to take our plates. Put your fork down and they lunge to collect it even though I'm not even finished. It's OK guys, calm down a little bit. They also took all the tables plates except one person and then was eyeing them to finish. It just felt a little rushed
