Family Chinese Restaurant
Stayed overnight in North Haven and, based on reviews, decided to try this restaurant. I'm so glad we did. We had a lovely meal, with both my kids being adventurous and trying different meals than we would normally have. The mixed entree was nice, although the proportions were a little odd with 5 pieces that included 2 spring rolls. We were delighted that everything was delicious. We ordered mains including garlic chicken, lemon chicken, chicken laksa (tasty but a bit too spicy for us), and the seafood hot pot. The lemon chicken was the star! A lovely light batter that was still crisp encased succulent strips of chicken, and the sauce was balanced and tasty. We finished off with fried ice cream. It was delicious, too. Staff were friendly and the price was very reasonable considering how much food we got. Would definitely recommend it.

Had take awayFried rice noodles was goodFried rice was okVegetable and tofu also good but a touch saltyAsk for fresh lemon but they didn’t have any. I would have thought most restaurant would have lemons but I was wrong :(

Really wanted to and wish I could support this local regional business - but never again.First mistake - not having the menu before ordering.Woman who answered the phone didn't seem keen to make any suggestions or market the business in any way.Ordered fried rice - onion bits were raw and rice was lukewarm. They seemed to be overly concerned on the phone about whether to add egg or not - but really just needed to concentrate on making the dish. They had 20mins and no other customers at the time.Also as mentioned, never order steamed vegetables as a vegie option -- unless of course you enjoy what is ultimately 80% huge chunks of raw onion and cabbage and 2-3 pieces of broccoli chucked into a pot of boiling water for about 15 seconds.... for a ridiculous $15. Shut up and take my money!"Yep maybe once but never again. And I'll definitely be spreading the word. I'm sure some people have had experiences to rave about here - but if the quality of food and service is not consistent

Absolutely fantastic food, but no prawn chips. Didn't need them at the end as we were absolutely stuffed. I would recommend the Honey chicken and satay beef.I was able to get a pack meal but swap out the seafood option too.Just make sure you let them know you are there when you go to pick up your order.

I was excited to try this restaurant’s food and support a small local business. I obtained a menu the day before ordering, as I was keen to order the following night. The closing time said 9pm on the takeout menu. I went in the following night at 8:33pm and was told the kitchen was closed.
