It’s absolutely beautiful food and still I feel flavours and had a great chat with owner tubb and his team is fantastic and loved to come back again and again and it’s a great dinner and I feel it’s real Thai flavours.

Food: We ordered a Beef Pad Thai, Beef Cashew Nut Sauce, Steam rice and a can of Sprite. We waited for our food to be served for about 30-35 minutes. Then they came to our table to tell us that our order was taken with mistake. Beef Pad Thai was okay, but the Beef Cashew Nut was a kind of bland in taste. The can of Sprite we ordered never came to our table despite us having to wait for 30-35 minutes.Service: One of the waitresses was helpful and accommodating. However, I noticed one lady who was not wearing a uniform who may seem to be the owner or the manager (not too sure) but she is not hospitable. I understand that it may be busy inside but she should also take note that they also have customers who eats outside. She only accommodates and chats with customers with bookings but if you don't, whether you eat inside or outside, she doesn't approach people or smile at them either. I went to the cashier to pay for our meal and she was standing next to the cashier near their kitchen, neither did I hear a thank you from her nor did I see her smile to a customer who just paid and supported their business. Disappointing for a grand openingAtmosphere: It was kinda good.We dined in 20th June 2023 at 6:30pm. The lady I was referring to was wearing a white top and jeans. I know it could still be improved, but first impressions last.

We took Mum out for Thai as it’s her favourite. The staff were welcoming and patient while we decided on our selections. I was grateful not to be rushed.The drinks we great and while the food was delicious, I felt it could have had a little more flavour and oomph.We had a lovely experience overall.

Tried Monkey King during their grand opening in Darling St. First time I appreciated Thai food! Staff is nice and accommodating. Great ambiance.We ordered crispy prawn roll, Massaman Duck, Chili Jam soft shell crab and koo wa gai noodles. I loved the soft shellCrab and the duck the most.

Just reopened after major make over.. very nice timber panelling, tables and chairs and space.Food was delicious we recommend the Koo Wa Gai great flavor... and the Duck in plum sauce very tasty, cooked to perfection. The portion sizes generous.Service very attentive and friendly.
