Shop assistant named Foo, texting on his phone at checkout. When asked if he was on his phone he told me to mind my own business . Very poor customer service.

I shop here regularly out of convenience, I can’t fault the food or prices but the staff are terrible !Like robots waiting to throw your groceries at you, today I forgot to bring change for the trolley, they refused to let me get cash out without a purchase, so I went through, lined up again with my 1 item only to be told again they can’t give me $1 cash out it must be a $10 minimum ( first guy should have told me this )Kept telling me to buy a stupid key ring coin, which I repeatedly told them I don’t want. I wanted a coin that I can spend as cash.Totally useless !!!

Great prices, easy parking and good range of food and special buys. Self serve checkouts have been added making it easier to pay for your groceries and not have to wait in the queue for the cashier.

Extremely discriminatory. We watched at the Aldi varsity store as they only checked the bags of people with darker skin and let the white people who were over 40 through without a check

This used to be an excellent store, but in the last 8-9 months it has been terrible. My latest experience on a Sunday morning is the store had no butter, then I get to the checkout and the eftpos is not working. Why we were not told in the beginning before unloading groceries would have been nice.

I went in a little overtired and the woman at the till was short with me because I couldn't move fast enough for her, usually the staff are really kind but not this blond lady at the till Varsity Lakes and she starts having a football conversation with the man behind me instead of focusing on the client at hand. I found my card outside in the car I was so uncomfortable in there. Usually the staff are really helpful. I don't know where she came from.
