The Ross Hotel (Man O' Ross)
Such a lovely pub with historic character. The food was delicious!! I had the prawn pasta with a side of scrumptious broccolini and my friend had the beef pot pie, which was huge!

What a gem! The most beautiful town and a gorgeous old pub! Loved the new owners, such a breath of fresh air that this beauty really needed. Food was exceptional. We had a Portuguese chicken burger, scallop chowder, chicken parm and a prawn pasta and couldn't decide between us what was our favourite! All were outstanding and a step up from pub-grub. Staff were super friendly and everything was clean. We hear they have exciting plans to fix the pub up so will be back whenever we find ourselves in the midlands. Keep up the great work guys! Definitely our new favourite Tassie pub!

The historical pub of your dreams! - this pub has everything; gorgeous interior, cool beer garden and THE FOOD IS TO DIE FOR! A strong menu of pub staples and weekly rotating specials, seriously you will want to try every single thing on the menu, it is all delicious. The charming features will win you over, as will the friendly staff. An outstanding pub experience

It’s easy to sling words together…but seriously this place is something else. Very reasonably priced but more importantly it’s just wonderful. The food can’t be faulted along with the warm and friendly service. Everything good about Tasmania is here. If only more places where as good as the Ross Hotel. Will happily drive up from Hobart for another great night.

The best steak we've had for a long time, friendly service and genuine, good-natured atmosphere. Ross is a beautiful place on a cold, still Winter night (probably at other times too) and we had a really memorable evening. Mini-break from Hobart well worth it!

We had a beautiful meal at this spot last night! Really kind, accommodating staff, especially for the fact one of us was veggie and they made us a customised & delicious tomato gnocchi from scratch. Thanks so much for a lovely evening :)

Wonderful historic pub with delicious food and incredible service! The staff are friendly and the little town of Ross is delightful. They have a great selection of local beers and wine and an awesome beer garden! Would highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner or just a drink in the beer garden: can’t wait to visit again soon!

Dinner on both Friday and Saturday night, all four of our meals excellent. Quickly served, piping hot, and great tasting. I especially loved the Pulled Pork Burger and the Guinness and Beef Pie.
