A & J Realty Group were great to work with. Always so friendly and helpful. They have done wonders for the complex since taking over. Recommend anyone to stay here!

Management is pretty chill, houses are nice. The strict rules here are bendable if you don't get caught haha. The rent is probably cheapest near Bond University. Would recommend.

Do not recommend, if you are looking for a clean place to live!Pros:- Nice area/ location: close to bond uni and bus stops- Pools (dirty, not cleaned, insects and plants inside)- Small gymCons:- Rooms and common areas were not cleaned when moving in, found hair of previous residents on my carpet and elsewhere- Room/ carpet had a weird smell- Our house had cockroaches, ants, spiders and silverfish- Management acts very slowly- Water in the whole house got cut off on several days for many hours without any notice- You need an Australian bank account to get your deposit back (very inconvenient for international students)- If you don’t own a car, it is very far away from any grocery store- Entry gate always gets stuck when trying to open- Several blinds where broken when I moved in (those got fixed quickly though)- Made request to fix a broken shower door, never got repaired- Old furniture- One refrigerator was broken

There is a wonderful place to live for me. The managers are more patient and nice. The neighbors are all friendly. It's a good choice to live who studied in Bond Uni.

have been living here for nearly a whole year, it's a wonderful place for me; the scenery is remarkable, and the neighbours are friendly. This place is not far from the surrounding downtown, including Robina Town Center and Pacific Fair as well. Overall, if you're looking for a place to live this place will be a pretty good choice for you.

Varsity Shores is using students to rip them off in a ridiculous way. I lived there for one semester and what seems nice at first sight turns out to become a nightmare in the end.Apart from several damages like moldy ACs, a leaking cealing and a broken dishwasher the management showed no respect towards the tenants. I got yelled at for no reason, they walked into my room without notice and in the end they tried to get away without refunding the 880$ bond.Be careful and never trust the Varsity Shores management.

[2022] Last management would make everyone pay for a whole set of utensils / plates / pots / cups / glasses etc even if one was thing was missing. I remember everyone had to pay about $80 each after the 'end of semester clean' when only one plate, glass and a fork was missing - this was actually in the room of someone who had already left. Many horror stories from last management for over 5 years like walking into the units without notification, having the water turned off without notification, not paying the bonds back - Just read the other reviews.[2023 - Mid Year Update]Recently found out that most of the 'managed' units / villas still have the original furnishings when the complex was built 20 something years ago. I understand the beds have probably been replaced more often, every 2 or 3 years, however, the sofas, fridges, microwave, showers, toilet pumps (ever wonder why they seem to not completely flush or have a continuous flowing of water?), tables, chairs, desks, lamps etc. most likely have not been replaced. To give you, the reader (potentially a new resident or someone who just came to reminisce about finding a place last minute and felt like your head was over a barrel with a gun pointed at you when you tried to explain that your payment to live in Varsity Shores should also include quality life) an idea, most of these items should be replaced every 5 years. Don't get me started on the carpets and curtains.Obviously considering some of the price increases for other rental places far exceed what is being asked of here which is a bonus, and those people coming in 'short-term' may not notice the difference, I'd still advise anyone considering moving in to at least get the owners contact information to get things fixed which it is managements duty to ensure that things get replaced without the occupant feeling like asking will just increase the rent in the next lease agreement.

I heard that Varsity Shores accepted tenancy applications from ex-ADF and DVA persons from another DVA tenant.I contacted the Admin to explain my urgent need to find new accommodation. I explained that I proactively left home because of the detrimental effect it was having on mental health recovery. My conditions are personally and professionally well managed but the reinforcing factors of my home environment were irreconcilable with my continued recovery and so I find myself effectiely with nowhere to live.I did my best to alleviate any concerns for the safety and wellbeing of other tenants as well as my ability to afford a place if my application were to be successful. That was two nearly weeks ago and I haven't even received an acknowledgement of my inquiry.Thank you Varsity Shores, your silence speaks volumes. I'm not disgusted by your indifference towards me, instead it is at the thought of others who might find themselves in similar or more severe circumstances reaching out to you - only to have the feelings and thoughts they struggle to assuage on a daily basis reinforced by your lack of acknowledgement for their situation or even existence.

Dear future study abroad students,Please don't book this accommodation! The living complex itself looks nice and the pools are great, but if you don't wanna get ripped off please don't help them do it to more people than me and my friends. On the day of arrival, our house looked disgusting inside even though it was mandatory to pay a cleaning fee. Cutting boards were mouldy, trash flew around in the backyard and dirt everywhere in the common rooms. The only exception was the private rooms. When we arrived the front door lock didn't work properly. The management pretended not to understand our problem and didn't do anything. We ended up leaving the front door open all the time, cause otherwise, we couldn't get in sometimes when the key got stuck. Every time we asked the management for something (broken washing machine) it took them ages to fix it or they ignored it (like the key thing). Last but not least they kept 200$ from my Bond even though I did nothing. I even took before and after pictures to prove that nothing changed, but they didn't care. I am home now (overseas), and I can't do anything except calling and emailing them, but as usual, they don't care what you say.
