Like many other small business owners, I assumed, having the experience, that it would be economical to do my own accounts and bookkeeping. After my first year doing so, I realised that while I am capable, I was spending a great deal of time keeping them up to date and make returns on time. After a long day's working it was very tiring doing my books in the evening. A friend recommended I speak with Shoebox Books Kew. My first consultation with JJ convinced me that he was somebody I could trust and his vast experience provided peace of mind. Now I can relax and socialise more instead of doing accounts. I run a small consulting business with large overseas clients. As my business has grown, bookkeeping, BAS lodgment and invoicing have become very time consuming. It was keeping me from my primary role of delivering consulting services. Then JJ came along and stepped me through the setup of Xero and helped me to sort out the complicated process of invoicing my clients, several of which have recently transitioned to the SAP ARIBA system. My business does not have a huge volume of transactions, but each is complicated, with payments and receipts in multiple currencies, specialist currency exchange services, a need to generate Payment Statement Reports in line with my clients’ various requirements and dealing with my clients’ vendor systems such as the aforementioned SAP ARIBA.
