The Cheesecake Shop Sunnybank Hills

The cheesecake store sends out $5 voucher to people with birthdays and its applicable as long as you buy a full size cake. This store refused to provide it, saying the $5 voucher is only applicable for horrible cakes which they have pre packaged in boxes when the term and conditions on the voucher itself states otherwise. This is worth reporting to the ACCC as false advertising. Luring people to purchase then says not applicable when terms and conditions state otherwise. I have emailed the headquarters and am waiting for a response. I really hate companies that scam people like that and will see this to the end. Never ever buy from the cheesecake store ever again.

Bought a cake,only to get home and find that it was frozen as ice and not fresh at all.Whats worse is initially I was given the cake in a box that was not clean, had to actually request for the box to be changed.Didnt even manage to eat the cake,complete waste of money!

I order 6 Christmas cupcakes on 24th Dec. $24.95. it’s not fresh at all. And it’s totally different from the sample in store. It’s just normal flower decoration. cream and sponge are taste disgusting. I really want to show you the photos. Send me your email address. I can show you the receipt and photos. Really Disappointed.

I wish I could leave a 0-star review or a negative review. The boss is very unprofessional, and rude. I had to call on behalf of my little sister as she was unwell to work, and as she will be handling cakes it will be a health and safety issue for her to be working. The boss's tone was very rude, as he was giving me a very aggressive tone. I will not be lodging a complaint through customer service as I doubt this will solve anything, this was very ridiculous and not fit as a boss.

We have been coming here for years for staff birthday cakes and the quality and service has really dropped. The cakes are old and aren't made fresh, the staff could care less about you and get frustrated when you ask for basic things, like expecting a cake you preordered to be ready when you get there, or adjustments for alergies. It's such a shame because they are so close to our office, and we buy ~20 cakes a year. We will have to find another option sadly.

I believe I talked to the manager/owner over the phone asking a very simple and naive question where I maintained a polite tone throughout and was met with the most condescending and rude response. Regardless of how silly the question may have been as per the owner’s standards, if the customer is conversing in a very sincere and polite tone, why is the response so rude? A simple “no, we cannot do that” would have sufficed. Customer doesn’t know all the rules of your cake business, so if they’re asking a question you could simply answer that and not assume that they know what you. My family and I will not be visiting this store, let alone spend our money here, ever again.

The staff is amazing and they served me very well and the cakes I ordered 5 custom cakes and got the same as I wanted really nice shop highly recommended and the customer service girl Fatima was really nice to me and the other customers as well
