Ocean Blue Coastal Retreats

Loved our stay at Cloud house, it was in a great spot in Arthurs seat and was quite and peaceful! The view was really lovely and close to wineries in red hill. I loved that our little pup could come and he enjoyed the balcony too. Thank you for a great stay!

Wouldn't recommend the Portsea Hideaway. First off, the steep driveway is dangerous, from the photo you can see the huge pot hole in the center of it. Unfortunately, I landed in it and slipped a disc in my back.Other things to mention -• The kids room door needs a bolt lock. The kids managed to find the step ladder which was in the laundry on the floor and attempted to go out there. You say the porta cot isn’t safe, this was terrifying to see.• The house is full of mosquitos to which you don’t even provide repellent, fly screens on windows would help here.• The dog had more dog bags than human toilet paper, two rolls per bathroom.• The outside tiles are dangerous, there’s many that are uneven/sticking out, plus get VERY hot.• It says dog friendly, but there’s no grass area. Mentioned is the side courtyard a nice spot for pooches when out, it’s full of Huntsman’s.• The pool cleaner arrived Friday morning without warning• No basic condiments, you have to bring EVERYTHING (including additional toilet paper)For over $3500 you can get MUCH better.For Ocean Blue Coastal Retreats, no compensation whatsoever offered - brushed off. Not good enough. Do not recommend.

The customer service is good overall. They are flexible and accomodating. However we stayed at villa Conti and would not recommend it for the reasons ofthe compressor unit is so loud in the second unit ! Making sleep impossible- the hot water didn’t work in the second unit when two people were showering at the same time- the dishwasher upstairs was an issue as we had to bring our dishes upstairs. It would be better for the dishwasher to be downstairs- the coffee machines need anUpgrade.For the premium price we paid for this Thank you for listening to our concerns as well as the great customer service which I have always been impressed with with OCBR, in particular your flexibility with our expanding family as well as with the earlier check in, extra night and early check in.Edited in response to reply from OCBR:Ah that is interesting about you not receiving feedback about the noise prior to this. I can assure you that it really was very noisy! And that we are not imagining it. It was an intermittently extremely loud sound! My aunty had a shock and jumped up and ran out as she thought something was coming crashing down. Then it kept occuringnsuch that as she was dozing off it kept happening! Poor thing- what a shame. My partner went to check the AC units outside and they looked very rusty and poorly maintained and were definitely making an excessive amount of noise. We had to choose between being warm or sleeping, not something we expected to be choosing Perhaps other guests have not bothered to reported it.Alas we sadly won’t be able to return to stay with OCBR in the future given the situation above. It’s a shame as we would have been loyal long term customers as we have a getaway for my birthday each year. I don’t feel like our concerns have been taken seriously as it doesn’t sound like you believe us about the noise, but perhaps other customers will feel more confident to report this now that I’ve posted my review online. property, we expected better and were disappointed.

February 2022. Had such a great time and loved the house so much that we came back for another stay, this time for 10 days. As like last year we enjoyed all the amenities, beach is close so we took walks every morning, it was awesome. Thank you again Ocean Blue and Glen Mor.February 2021. Great house, modern, clean, spacious and comfortable for the 8 of us. Pool was the highlight, fantastic. 5 minute walk to the beach. Used the fire pit one night and had S’mores.....they were divine. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you Ocean Blue and Glen Mor.

We loved our stay at Coco House. From the moment we walked in finding goodies on the table, music playing, the lighting and the fragrant air ! Very comfortable, relaxing and clean ….. our little pooch loved it too!!Highly recommend.

We were recently fortunate to celebrate my wife's birthday and stayed at St Ives Cottage in Rye. It was a short 75 minute drive from Melbourne and the beach house was two streets back from the beach.This house is thoughtfully renovated and has comfy sofas, a large spa bath and a real fire place! The enclosed backyard is large with decking and lounging chairs, which allowed us to hang out with a BBQ while the kids played on the swing set.We enjoyed the nice touches like the quality soaps and shampoos and also the large range of coffee pods for the Nespresso machine.The beach choices are awesome, 2 minutes drive is the gentle Rye beach but 10 minutes further and we discovered the thundering sounds of the Gunnamatta beach. Food-wise we treated ourselves to the local Sisco and Steam restaurants.Sunday culminated in a long session at the Peninsula hot pools (which we had to book in advance) and dinner at The Capel Sound Fish and Chippery.I’m giving it 5 stars!Gene

Meditative MetungMy husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing 2-week- at the Oar House, just getting away from life’s busy-ness! We loved Metung’s slower pace of life.As we drove into Gilsenans Drive, the striking 3-storey Oar House rose up from bushland on a quiet street; a mere 5 mins drive from Metung central.It's a casual and comfortable house - stylishly decorated with a relaxed blend of scandi, rustic & coastal charm. Most of the windows have a bush view and there’s plenty of nature's relaxing music provided by birds chirping and singing.The house is very comfortable with all the little details and thoughtful touches that Ocean Blue Coastal Retreats always provide that make a good holiday great.The village itself is small, stylish & pretty minus the hectic holiday crowds. We enjoyed the free open-air-cinema nights on the village green and fireworks on New Year’s Eve. There’s a few shops, a fantastic pub and a small gourmet general store with larger supermarkets at Lakes Entrance - 15 minutes away.You can go out or enjoy hanging in. We did both; slouching around reading, biking around the thigh-burning, hilly country roads & the flat coastal bike path at Lakes Entrance, fishing & prawning, watching some Netflix, swimming in the lakes, a few drives checking out some nearby towns and strolling along the Metung boardwalk.This is our 6th stay at one of the gorgeous Ocean Blue properties and we couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Will & his team are sooo easy to deal with. dreeeeeam :)Honestly they make booking & leasing an absolute dream! You can tell from the friendlienss of their website how much they truly care about the guests experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Great property. Loved the location and the quirkiness. Comfortable and team were responsive to questions. Huge master and terrific wood fire which is necessary as not a warm home despite multiple split systems but comfortable all the same. Kitchen had all we needed and great to have a full laundry. We didn’t have our dog this time but I would definitely return with him.
