Mount Waverley Primary School

The school has changed over the years. When struggling, the teachers were there for me. I just had to ask for help! Would definitely recommend going to this school! I am proud to say that I am a student at this school. The school yard is clean, very sustainable. Nicest teachers ever! They greet students, and the students greet them back. Although, some teachers left throughout the year. I genuinely had an amazing time there.The teachers are polite, caring whilst inspirational. Between students and teachers, there is a strong connection, sharing life experiences and advice for the ongoing years of education. You can really admire some of the staff. There are also many activities and opportunities. I went into the office to then enquire about uniforms with Tina and Wendy who were so happy to help and spend some time with me to go through a few queries that I had.From beginning my school journey at Mount Waverley Primary School in 2014 to graduating in 2020, I can tell you that I had a ripper of an experience at such a great school. I highly recommend M.W.P.S to everyone out there and can tell you that there are some fabulous teachers and staff. As sport and music being my top two favourite things, M.W.P.S really gave the opportunity to do both while I was there. The Library is such a nice and peaceful place and the school grounds overall are very well kept. When I first enquired about the school, I was initially speaking to Wendy in the office who has been super friendly and polite every single time (spoke to her maybe half a dozen times about different things). I went into the office to then enquire about uniforms with Tina and Wendy who were so happy to help and spend some time with me to go through a few queries that I had. My daughter starts prep next year and I feel so excited for her as my first impressions as well as continuous dealings with the people there have been amazing.

Great school with a caring atmosphere. The school is big enough to have the resources and small enough that my child doesn't get lost in the crowd.

it has lot of play options for all age kids .They are open during holidays for public to access their grounds for playing

Carsten in year 6 in 2022 sucks so bad he is so mean and doesn't allow anyone to do anything he is so annoying but he is kinda helpful at TIMES

I attended Mt. Waverley primary school from prep 1959 onwards as did my older brother Gregory Baillie from about 1955 onwards and my younger sister Maree Baillie from 1962 onwards. They are now both deceased. l remember the farmland at the back of the school with cows in it. I also remember a maypole we played on. There were outside netball courts at front with a play ground with monkey bars etc. l also remember the row of large pine tree's with a large oval behind them. My sister used to love playing footy with the boy's on it but was'nt allowed to join the team (girls were'nt allowed to in those days. l very much enjoyed those days. In those days it was known to be one of the largest state schools in Victoria.

From beginning my school journey at Mount Waverley Primary School in 2008 to graduating in 2014, I can tell you that I had a ripper of an experience at such a great school. I highly recommend M.W.P.S to everyone out there and can tell you that there are some fabulous teachers and staff.
